Not a "gimme" game by any stretch, but we should win this one 8 or 9 times in 10. We did play Morehead State in the 2011 season when they had Kenneth Faried and we did OK.
I said something similar to this in another thread… that no matter what writers and analysts say… it always comes down to Florida, Kentucky and one random other team at seasons end for the best SEC Team. People hit me with negative and neutral ratings.
Totally agree it is no "gimme", but I believe if we bring the same intensity as we did against the Noles we'll get the win. I'm hoping to see a repeat of our 2nd half play against FSU.
I opened a separate browser page and got my ticket loaded there and just left it there. When I got ready to go into the game, just popped that browser page back open and it was a piece of cake.
Florida is favored by 14 to 15 points. The computers........ Massey has UF ranked #30 and Mil at #237. Gives UF a 94% chance to win. Projects the score as 77-61 so -16. Sagarin has UF at #35 and Mil at #222. Has a point spread at -18. FWIW.... UF was favored over FSU by 1 the other day.
Be careful, the phone can mark browser tabs as old and flush it at any time, causing a reload when you go back to the browser app.
Tonight will be a great test coming off a huge and emotional win. Thankfully the game wasn't on Tuesday or yesterday so the team has an extra couple of days to mentally get ready for tonight. Milwaukee is in maybe the best mid-major conference so this could be a nice win by the end of the season and they have a lottery pick in next year's draft. Currently Yahoo has Patrick Baldwin Jr. going 5th overall. Anytime you face that good of a prospect, the possibility is there for him to go off and make tonight a really tight game and possibly get the upset. Tonight is a nice measuring stick to see if the Gators will be consistent throughout the season and bring that passion each game. If we keep the defensive intensity, I think of Baylor the last couple of years, where they grind you and wear you out, that by the middle of the 2nd half, they would just take control of the game (except the championship game where they dominated from start to finish). Not saying the Gators will be as good as Baylor but the potential is there to be a great defensive team and be in every game. Then when the shots are falling, you run away with games. Really excited to watch this Gator team play tonight with a number in front of Florida and we'll quickly see if this Gator team is different than the last several years.
Such an important game! Even as regular have our beatings by FSU been our propensity to lose home games to lesser team after big wins has been as much so. THIS is where White can really show his coaching chops. Win this one, especially convincingly, and we are really off and running!
I went to football game last Saturday..first time using electronic tickets...it was easy...when I got to gate..just hit bar code..they scanned it..no issues at all
