My issue with Cox is in the run game. There's a reason UGA let him walk.

I will take your word on that except on roster I see a group of 240lb+ guys. Unless they are all-world fast aren't they just too big for OLB?

Ugh, my post just reminded me of Diwun Black. The guy gave everything to get back here and now... :(

Only reason why im not “mad” at the staff about Black is before this season, it’s been a while since he played football and plus he got here late in the year. Still at this point, why not just give a series or two out there and let him get his feet wet? What’s the worst that can happen?????

MLB is a mindset more than just a weight issue. Not many guys want to or can hit a guy in the hole ten times a game. I loved to hit when I was a kid but after 3-4 times hitting a rb right in the hole, it’s hard to do many more times. Guys start making Deon tackles.

Let's say the we're only out the 3 DT's and Carter, we COULD return with a group that while they haven't been full time starters, we have the depth we need. It's all about them dudes buying in and wanting to be great.

depth chart (in no order, just naming the possible returning players if none hits the portal):

    DE: Cox, Bogle, Scooby, Nolton
SSDE: Princely, Boone, Sapp (maybe, idk if he's going to be a DT)
    DT1: Dexter, Watson, Goods, Zanders
DT2: Lee, Thomas, Humphries (prolly portal bound), Lyons

If we can get commits from guys like McClellan, Wiggins, Jordan Phillips (Tennessee commit) or Shone Washington (he's from Louisiana) or late riser Ahmad Molten, or/and get Clyde Pinder out of the portal, our depth chart across the board is good.

Foxsports has it correct at 2.0 sacks, which makes him even with Powell. Imagine that: someone who averages maybe 2 plays per game has the same as someone who plays almost every snap.

Phillips' strength as a high schooler is 2d to none.

Couldn't be worse than Hopper was. He put both arms up and stopped pursuing on a TD down the sideline, and he never got out of his stance on an extra point, the only one who didn't move. Seriously checked out.

Yep. Won’t even be mad if he wants to leave. There is about 10 players on D I actually want and most of them are young and don’t play lol

What’s the deal with Nolton? Looks like he is a sack machine but still low rated and nobody ever talks about him. What are people’s expectations for him? What will be his role in college?
