I would quite literally shit my pants if it hit that mark. $100 to $114k? Yowzas. edit: math is hard. It would be $114k @ $.01
My step Dad is up to like 85m SHIIB lol. He's gone crypto bonkers since I introduced him to it last year.
I looked at my Robinhood app and there was a significant increase. Thank you Hertz for buying 100,000 Teslas
Interesting thread. Great idea to get a pulse of peers financial interests as many of the investment forums are rife with idiots abd meme factories. I have the bulk of my wealth with two WMA firms. Split fairly even. I keep a healthy personal investment account with fidelity. I invest this in various ETF's, blue chips and divy producing real estate and investment firms such as ABR, NRZ, STWD, RDN, TRTX and the like. I short some but mostly an investor. I have long holds in a variety of sectors. I got in Crypto early and have the bulk of that with Crypto.com now. I also do a high yield MM account and savings as hedges against my occasional stupidity. God bless my broker. That is all.
It's been a good month, up 130%. Once they put some cars on the road and the reviews started coming in, I had a feeling. I sold a little today and took my gains to GGPI which is the SPAC set to merge with EV company Polestar
I took a loss on lucid last spring... Took a position with NVAX late last month after politico hit piece. Up over 40% in a month with a lot of room to run. 1/10th the mcap of Pfizer and moderna and may blow them out of water with more EUAs expected soon including euro
I just took a quick look at some bond ETFs. Unfortunately yields are very low on these. If interest rates ever go up these would be much more enticing. But regardless, they offer a safe investment that hedges a stock portfolio. The last two add a little risk for return. Convertible bonds capture some upside of stocks with the lower risk of bonds. Preferred Stocks are also a stock/bond hybrid that offers a higher yield without the prospect of price appreciation. BND - Vanguard Total Bond Market - 1.9% Yield - 0.04% Expense Ratio SCHZ - Schwab US Bond Aggregate Bond - 2.18% Yield - 0.04% Expense Ratio GOVT - I shares US Treasury Bond - 0.94% Yield - 0.05% Expense Ratio VTC - Vanguard Total Corporate Bond - 2.36% Yield - 0.05% Expense Ratio CWB - SPDR Convertible Securities - 2.24% Yield - 0.4% Expense Ratio PFFD - Global X US Preferred - 5.21% Yield - 0.23% Expense Ratio
After adoption comes value. Facebook would be an example of this. Users adopted the platform to connect and communicate with family and friends. After users adopted the platform the owners got rich. The difference in crypto is the network participants have ownership too. This is why I'm big on following the adoption rate of crypto. What blockchain platforms are people adopting/building/creating on and how fast is that adoption happening? It's a big reason why I like Ethereum. If you look at Solana, Solana is following a remarkably close track as Ethereum did except Solana is about 5 years behind.
