I can’t remember if I said this here or in a text with my friends, but my thoughts are: what is the worst that can happen if we do this? Make Georgia fork out more money to keep the guy?

Thank you!!!! This happens in sports all the time. Make these schools “outbid” themselves to retain their staff. Hell i hate to go this route, but raise some hell behind the scenes in suggesting that they (the administration) needs to give him a blank checkbook to make the best hire for them to win a title. Im also in the camp we shouldn’t make a position coach our DC too. We’re UF, we not some school you need to get your first coordinator break at. Hire someone established and who’s earned the position

idk if this is accurate, but look at the salary for OU’s OL coach; you mean to tell me if we offered him $800k he wouldn’t come to UF?

Bill Bedenbaugh, Offensive Line Coach (FB), Oklahoma Sooners

look at the recruits along the OL and tell me he wouldn’t be a good fit here

Then maybe he may bring back some of our recruits they took from us and gets to bring some friends from their defensive staff with him… unfortunately we won’t think like that though

According to sources Mullen and his staff has never made a offer to 5* to OG Hunter Moss from West Orange.

You think Hunter Moss at Foundation Academy is a 5 star? I can't even find a ranking for him

Addazio? He’s the same guy that was stubborn as could be wanting to run dive after dive I believe. Never saw him as a recruiter. Someone said he was Easley and Floyd’s recruiter which doesn’t make sense. Would have most likely had a defensive guy as his lead recruiter. I’d also say the university, what Meyer had done, etc were selling more than Addazio.

You are mixing up personality with playcaller. Those guys could have easily been recruited regionally. But it sounds like you are just looking for reasons validate your uninformed assumptions.

Yeah, there is no question Daz was a high energy guy and great recruiter. Honestly would be perfect for our OL spot if available

Dude, show us this masterful research. I double checked all those 5 star rankings and just can't quite seem to find him.

FYI, I've actually seen him play this season. Want to compare notes?

One last time, i don't do the rankings, i wouldn't post he was 5* if he wasn't, however i am not going to do the search for you, if you don't believe it DUDE, it isn't going to make the day for me.

    Translation.....you didn't do any research.

Yeah, the kid in the Gator shirt, that is playing at a high school where UF already has a committed kid....is a 5 star that is being ignored by our staff at a position of dire need? Just to be clear, that is your assertion?
I swear, you just can't make this stuff up sometimes.

Correction.. 5* being ignored by every good team in the county.

If he was 2x first team all state it is surprising he doesn't have more attention, though. His size is good.

Just to clear this up. 247 OL composite rankings.

Yeah, I see 6 of those 5 star OL on your well researched list. I guess the other guy is just a better researcher than me or you. Maybe he has some super secret database we cannot access.
I wish I had known he had transferred over to WO when they played Apopka, would have watched him a little more closely. Conditions were bad that night (rain) and Apopka's defense is really good...but WO was abysmal on the OL. They got shutout and had negative yards rushing ( I think 5 Apk opponents have ended with negative rushing yards). But that's the only game WO has lost and they have been very productive offensively in other games. Kid might be a nice preferred walkon.

    Two things:

First, Would you really be surprised? Half the kids that leave the state for georgia, etc are never mentioned in UF recruiting. Four years in, how could that be? How many late offers have we seen this staff give out on talented kids? To me, with this staff's track record, how is it our back ups only get an offer late in the process? I thought there are conditionals for a reason. As well, WTH is going on in Jacksonville... or rather, WTH is not going on in Jax?

Second, I sense a Dude-off coming and we all know those are at least twice as violent as the bro-down. Let cooler heads prevail.
