The good news is we find out quick how tough our "new" team is. Even in a loss. During this streak we seem to largely lose before the tip by not being as tough or determined as the opponent, hoping to hit a high percentage.
I don't see any reason why the Gators shouldn't win this game. FSU looks like a rebuilding team with a roster that is not better than the Gators' roster, and the game is in Gainesville. We shall find out soon enough.
FSU lost some good players from last year but started four seniors (including three fifth year seniors) the other night so they aren’t exactly in a rebuilding mode. That said, while I don’t think they are quite as good as years past, they still are a talented group and it should be a really competitive game.
I am pretty sure that, like our team, some of those seniors are transfers. I am not saying that we are better than them, but, if our newbies are as good as there’s, we should be able to beat them at home.
Said this a week ago and was told that doesn’t matter. I agree with you and will say they’ve been longer and more athletic the last 6-7 years. We may win but their length will absolutely give us trouble.
Doesn’t matter. Not saying we can’t or won’t win but they’ll play 10-11 kids and their intent is not so much for their big guys to score A ton but more to cause problems defensively by altering shots and winning on the glass.
We were playing them really well last year before tragedy struck. play them tough and just pray those 3s are falling.
Vegas says it’s even money. That’s good enough for me to believe we are going to win!!! Let’s go get that ever elusive Mike White / Seminole beat down victory!!!!
They weren't long enough to get past a slew of Castleton blocks. Their length is usually a big problem but these Gators look to have an abundance of length.
Glad I was wrong! Didn’t even get to see it because we were having a gender reveal party for my first child (boy). Go Gators!
