(WBK) Florida Set to Open Season Against Georgia State

One of the officials loves to call travel, so we’ve spent a lot of time transferring the ball back and forth.

They really pushed it inside compared to us also, we have decided size advantage but we are shooting outside almost every time down.

 

Down 2 after 1... not a good start. They just look like they are trying too hard almost. We need to get a little spurt together and just play more relaxed.

Merritt is just a horrible FT shooter, just awful

One of the big things that has to get better this year... so far it hasn't.

She actually shoots the 3 quite well, so go figure.

 

One thing I was curious to see this game was how much smaller the rotation got. 10 of the girls have seen time so far. Byrnn Farrell, Kristina Moore, Jeriah Warren, and Tatyana Wyche haven't seen any minutes. Kelly probably wants to find a solid 10 to rotate if she wants to press all the time. We've been a little inconsistent in the first half but the flashes of what this team can do have been there. Want to see Alberte get going. We were pretty cold from 3 in the 1st half... and we have to start working on those free throws. We've been bad at them for a while and if we want to really turn the program around we are going to have some games where they will lose them for us if it's not straightened out.
