You're not wrong and if it wasn't for other coaches he'd be getting more heat. The only thing I'd say is that we don't know how much Grantham's nonsense has affected the dline, Torrian Gray seems to have done a pretty good job at USC.
Torrian Gray has the 12th ranked pass D at USC and Ron English has the 11th ranked pass D at Purdue. lets be real, why can’t anyone? I love Carter but he’s kinda disappeared as the season has went on (easy to do that when teams can just run on you) and Cox is a non factor.
Having other great players around you helps. Carter would look miles better if he was on UGA/BAMA/TAMU D Line. This isn't madden you cant spam one good player Also Bogle/Moon should be starting at buck COX looks like the reason UGA let him walk
I think Turner probably controls DT/SSDE rotation? I can't fault him for riding Carter. Wish we could get princely snaps at WDE.
hopefully we have an alignment that can stop the counter and force teams to beat us in the air. Our DT’s opposite Dexter have been pretty underwhelming. That’s KILLLLLING us. Hell our D alignment was killing us too but that goes w/o saying lol
Imagine a recruiting effort where a DL’s primary contact in recruiting is the OL coach and an annual birthday card is the noted differentiator with that coach. No mention of contact with the DC or DL coach during the process. No relationship with off field recruiting specialist. Think that needs to change in the future
He basically said grantham leaving doesn’t effect him and his interest in UF. Said he speaks to Turner and that is who matters to him on the staff.
