Have accessed it in the past but does Xfinity now make you pay extra? I know each provider will probably be different. Just trying to get information for all of us regardless of your provider.
No idea if I get it so I went to WatchESPN.com and selected "schedules and replays" from the menu and then selected SEC+ and then selected replays (since there were no live events going on). Then picked a show. It then asked me to pick my provider. I chose Verizon but there was an Xfinity option. It then started playing the show. So hopefully that means I can at least watch the game from my desktop.
Thanks @vaxcardinal - just went through watchespn dot com on my desktop, and found the game: SEC Network + | Videos | Watch ESPN At least I found the webpage - hopefully will be able to watch the game as well tomorrow. I have cable with ESPN so that should do it I would think.... Edit: Watching "Thinking Out Loud" right now so guess it worked. I have Spectrum as my provider.
I watched the last (exhib) game on ESPN+ -- it was a bit hard to find as is a lot of stuff on there. My ESPN sked shows tonight's game as being on ESPN+, guess in addition to the SEC Net+.
Yeah, I looked around on Xfinity to find it, but couldn’t. I was about to start looking for alternate methods to watch, but then checked ESPN and was able to easily sign in there through Xfinity. I’m not sure if it cites extra. I have a fairly substantial cable package (way too expensive ).
From a computer or mobile device go to this link and then it will ask you to sign in. If you have it through your cable service, it will present you the option to select your provider and then you will login using the credentials you use to log on to your cable service. Once your login is complete, you will have the ability to watch a lot of ESPN games/content, including SEC+ games. Watch ESPN: Online Live Sports, Replays, Highlights It is not available directly through your cable box if you have Xfinity. At least I haven't found it. So, if you want it on your television set, you'd either need to have a smart TV with the ESPN app available or a secondary device like a Roku that has it available, or connect your computer or mobile device to your TV via a cable or digital means to have it on there. EDIT: There is an ESPN+ app on Xfinity but it seems you have to pay for subscription to ESPN+. It does show tonight's game as available to watch through the app. Strange that I can watch for free on WatchESPN, but can't for free via the ESPN Xfinity App through the cable box.
Both the women's game at 5 and the men's game at 8 will be on Sling TV tonight. They carry the SEC+ games.
The ESPN app usually has these games when I don't see it on my schedule (using Sling Orange plus sports).
Ugh, I don't see the game on Sling & the ESPN app requires a sub to ESPN+ to watch it. Edit: I had to browse by "Upcoming" to find the game. I had previously looked under "Basketball".
Cool. It's free using the WatchESPN app if you have cable, not to be confused with the ESPN+ app through your cable which requires a paid subscription. I think you figured that out, but I'm re-stating just in case.
So I have YouTubeTV and I'm still not sure I'll get the game. Guess I will have till game time to find out.
Yep. So true. For me.....I just want a switch to flip.....a button to push.....something like that. And whoosh....there it is! No thinking required! Someone needs to do that.......
