I agree in people being selfish. Anyone who has natural immunity who took the vaccine potentially took that from someone elderly in another country who could’ve used the vaccine. Hundreds of millions of people still haven’t been vaccinated in other countries yet we are giving out booster shots like they are candy. Thanks for agreeing with me on selfish people

In case you weren't aware, the US has already shipped more than 600m doses around the world, and now with the new 500m doses promised by the Biden admin, it will bring the total to 1.1b doses from the US alone. That's not being selfish.

Are you going to convince the anti-vaxxers to get blood tests?

Wow, that covers about 500 million people. Not enough. You were selfish if you had natural immunity and took the shot. It’s ok to admit it

Yet yesterday you were "all for adults getting the vaccines." But today, you're now trying to say getting them is selfish.

    Like I said, you're full of ****.

Also, remember he was linking anti-vaxxer articles and saying that "No way would I recommend my wife to get the vaccine if we were still planning on having kids" while saying that.

I said anyone who is over 18 and who doesn’t have natural immunity. I’ve said this in the past. Did you have Covid before getting the vaccine? Then you were selfish. Keep trying to deflect.

Yeah, I wouldn’t have my wife get the vaccine IF she was trying to get pregnant. That’s not a crazy thought. Just like most people not wanting to Vax their young kids. It’s just stupid. But you know this.

Is your wife an adult? Because, if so, you aren't really all for adults get the vaccine then. And your basis was an article from the same people that claim MMR gives you autism (literally).

Doesn't matter if you said over 18. You still said people should get the vaccine and now you're trying to say it's selfish.

Yup, I got two doses already and will be getting a third this week. Not selfish at all. I care about not wanting to infect others should I get covid, and I was advised by my docs that I def should get one anyway given my health condition and my job. But it's transparently clear that you don't really think that it's selfish. It's nothing more than an argument for you to make and easily dismissed as such.

You are being selfish. But that’s what we are in the US.

These are the numbers. They show exactly what our own cdc says. Our cdc…reinfections are rare. Break throughs are expected.

Just stop denying the science and reality. It is evil what is happening. Flat evil to destroy a persons livelihood. Someone who is more protected than everyone getting those boosters. Many who actually got Covid serving their community when there was no vaccine.

Maybe just sit the next few plays out, champ. The vast majority of the scientific world does NOT agree with you. I’ll booster up. You keep reading trash on Facebook.

If you want to ignore and deny reality that is on you.

The holy cdc says it…reinfection is rare. Break through is expected.

    Keep denying science.

    Booster up.

Just stop it. No one here believes you give a damn about people in other countries. Just more intellectual dishonesty from you.

Didn't argue that they didn't show this. However, as I mentioned earlier, it's quite possible that many of those already infected once, are now also vaccinated, which would lower their likelihood of reinfection even more. There are other issues too.

For instance, the research thus far about natural immunity is still mixed, with studies finding wide variation in antibody levels, questionable durability of antibody protection, and variation in protection associated variation in the severity level of the infection.

Given this uncertainty, vaccinating is what we should be doing if we're following the science. The CDC has pushed vaccines because we can't rely on natural immunity and because vaccines are a central component in reducing the burden of Covid and in saving lives. And like the US, the Director of the PHE implored the British to still get both doses even if already having been infected (from your link):

Here's something else to consider: you've argued many times now that the vaccines aren't working as they were "sold to the public." As I've responded multiple times, this just isn't true. They've been working splendidly. The CDC data I posted yesterday shows that hospitalizations and deaths of the vaccinated are way down compared to the unvaccinated, and with only a small fraction of adverse events.

One other point about this that shouldn't need a reminder. This is of an infectious disease and one that isn't under control, which means continued excess sickness and deaths. It's already been deadly to the tune of 5m worldwide and over 750k in the US (which by the way is more than the estimated number of deaths in the US from the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic). We still have much to learn about about Covid, so relying on natural immunity makes little sense given all the above.

It's sad to watch people destroying their own careers. Hate to see it. It doesn't have to be this way. Sad too because imo it's emblematic of how people are losing their minds and how this country is falling apart. But requiring vaccines is no more evil than requiring people to drive sober or to stop at stoplights so they don't injure or kill themselves or others.

It takes literally at least a decade to come up with a safe vaccine... This mRNA therapy could be a poison for all we know...We just DO NOT KNOW!!!

I would rather get Covid-19 (I already have and it was nothing to me) if I had never got it and just take the cure for it... the monoclonal cure.

    End of insanity!

Just because a person doesn't want a vaccine that doesn't really work that great on everyone doesn't mean they're anti-vaxxers, that's just a label given by those who live in fear
