I get that....but I've watched him pretty closely this year in his limited reps. He actually looked better last year than he has this season
I’d say he averaged 10-12. A lot has to do with the death or lack there of that we will have next year unless we pick up more guys out of the portal
Agree, Bogle needs opportunity. Our staff really settles on people and not much opportunity. I’d get it if Cox was a constant disruptor but he’s not.
Bogle hasn’t received the opportunity. Give consistent opportunity and I believe Bogle will produce results. Hard to produce When your playing time is inconsistent
I think his snaps have been limited due to effectiveness. Its always been a chicken/egg thing....but from my perspective both him and Princely were better last year. I was screaming for them to get more snaps then, now i look for Powell
Could it be that they are now expected to be more than QB seeking missiles and they are having to process the offense more and its slowing them a bit?
That would be two recent 4 star commits for Turner at DT. All is not lost. We are still in on several highly regarded Safeties and CBs. There are still some 4 star LBs and DEs on our board.
We have one saying UF and two saying elsewhere. I'll believe McClellan when it happens. In the meantime, where do we stand with Isaiah Hastings? EDIT: Got another CB yesterday so maybe UF has a chance with McClellan. They are both recent CBs so something is probably up for UF with McClellan.
24/7 has a report on Chris McClellen commenting on Grantham being fired. I'm not a member, so I don't know what he has to say. I am hoping, "Good Riddance."
I’m fascinated that so many people here think David turner has done a good job and should be retained. This is the worst defensive line I can remember at Florida. The only legitimate player on it is Gervon Dexter. Everyone else has been a total bust so far…Lamar goods, Jaelin Humphries, jalen Lee,….
I’m up in the air with him. Our linebackers have been so bad, it may make our line look worse. If backers were in the gaps making plays, things may look different.
I blame Sunseri for a lot, obviously we haven't seen much from the 2020 class outside of Dexter but it's tough to ask those guys to contribute much before they've been here 2-3 years especially with covid killing so much of the 2020 preseason. Turner definitely seems like a guy adept on a Mullen staff but not sure Kirby/Saban would ever consider him on their staffs.
Not too much to ask for me. I mean NONE of the guys outside of Dexter that Turner has brought in from HS sniffs the field at DE or DT. At times maaaaybe Princely
..and Turner is another one of the expiring contracts. The next DC will likely get to fill a few defensive slots, this is probably one of them.
