supposedly he's one of the elite shooters in the class. really just now blowing up on the national scene, but has had good production in his young career. believe he led his high school to their first ever state title with 27 points in the title game (as a junior). don't even get me started on malik. i love his game lol.

While there has been frustration over Whites ‘big’ recruiting, there has never been a real question about his recruiting overall. The buy can pull talent. Now IF he can organize them into a cohesive unit that has chemistry, a clear Offensive identity that will succeed and they win big,,, that’s another story to this point. Time will tell.
since we don't have the roster by grade anymore: With those 2 and Reed, that's 3. 4.Felder 5.Reeves 6.Kennedy 7.Gatkek 8.JJ 9.Lane 10.Klatsky (walk on?) Still leaves 3?? 6 freshman would be too many, assume a 1 or 2 transfers I guess?
These two bigs can score on anybody inside, this will slow down our dribble drive chuck and duck, but make defenses respect us inside, which will find our shooters more room to score from the outside and help the dribbling inside.

Hope I’m totally wrong, but I keep seeing images of Charlie Brown optimistically rushing towards that football which Lucy is of course holding in place for him to kick. And we all know (at least us older folk) what the result was . Every single time. Aaarrrggghhh! We will see.
Took White a few years, but he had hit his stride now and can recruit effectively against most programs. Obviously not at a Calipari level, but effective in attracting top 100 kids and portal kids. Think he may have really upgraded caliber of Assistants this past year with recent hires. Not sure his O schemes can win in tourney, but he is improving with each year. Young coach so expected. Might be benefiting from old guard if coaches aging out and nearing retirement.
Impressed that White was able to reel in a top-rated big man from California that was also an Ole Miss legacy!
Nice post IGWT !! If this years group can achieve beyond pre-season expectation and make a little noise CMW just might be building something here! Great to see him landing quality players like he has! Good job Coach!
It was really nice to read some positive perspective. I’m used to most posts ending with a sarcastic remark slanting negatively toward coach. Just reading something about looking up in the future was enlightening.
Hi Tim, Hey I've thrown some shade at CMW myself but he's clearly doing a pretty good job attracting transfers and recruiting some real talent into UF. Gotta give credit where it's due. Coach has so many positives going for him, just needs a little success on the court and he will be on his way! Excited about the upcoming season.
TBH I’m looking forward to this season more than any since the Scottie Wilbekin days. Can’t really know how good we will be but I expect it to be fun!
