You can worry about age adjusting if you wish.

These drugs are not 94% effective. Or whatever over almost perfectly effective number that these people sold the public. They had no clue. And we now see how much these drugs waned in efficacy and how little they worked on delta.

But hey…nothing like 3/4 of deaths being vaccinated and having most using monoclonal treatments.

The best way to fight this disease is being healthy. Not shifting the goal posts and mandating a new drug. That new drug absolutely is something for many to consider. But it is no silver bullet.

I don’t need a scientific study to navigate this. Some are useful. Some are not.

If you can’t see that the healthy are at little risk. Or that these drugs clearly do not work as they were sold when they first came out. Then you are not reading the hard data. Or you have have a completely different risk tolerance causing you to be far more scared of this disease.

And yes. I am an only child!?

Of course you are. You probably never learned how to share. It’s all about you, all the time.

The vaccines reduce the spread of covid. Studies show this. These aren’t “useful” to you. You ignore them because it allows you to continue justifying your selfishness.

It certainly must be nice to be younger and healthier than those 700,000 Americans that covid killed. Oh well, sucks to be them right?

If only they had taken Faucci’s advice at the onset of the pandemic and gotten younger….

What an obtuse view you have.

Sad. But par for the course.

The full article the image came from:
Covid-19 in Wales: A third of positive cases are unvaccinated

Covid anti-vaxxers have to hang their hats on that one week in that one country, because it is one of the few outliers that gives any credence to the falsehoods they cling to.

There is another chart in that article that shows the numbers for the entire month rather than that single week.

When the first two weeks of the month are added to the data set, we see a very different story.

Some people will cling to the single week that tells the story they have convinced themselves is true.

Those living in reality will say things like:

I could see why you wouldn't want to link the whole article, which actively disputes your point.

Covid-19 in Wales: A third of positive cases are unvaccinated

So let's see, you have 95% fully vaccinated rate amongst those that are over 60 and 84% fully vaccinated rate for those under 60. The hospitalized group is 90% fully vaccinated for those over 60 and a little under 60% for the fully vaccinated group. Which means, your individual risk of hospitalization due to Covid if you are not vaccinated is 2x higher if you are over 60 and about 3.5x higher if you are under 60. So about 77% effectiveness of the vaccine if you are under 60 and about 66.68% effectiveness if you are over 60, which puts overall age-adjusted, effectiveness just north of 70%, same as the Scotland data that you shared.

Now do a montage of Antivaxxers on their death beds wishing they had taken the vaccine....

This form of "information" where people piece together one sided narratives to purport some landslide victory on an issue is the lowest of hanging fruit. I perused her page. Another freedom fighter full of half truths and made up facts.

I'm not even hardcore on the issue of this vaccine as I don't believe in mandates for the current state of affairs. I do agree with someone here who stated if people will be antivax because of big pharma then please be consistent and stay out of ERs and regeneron clinics.

Well someone got busted. What's the old saying " figures don't lie, but...... " Perhaps it was just a slight oversight.

Thanks for being my Exhibit "A." People listen to you and they will die. If the country did as I suggested (not taking credit) we would have been out of this. You post a constant, annoying stream of misinformation. I hope the people around you are bright enough to follow the science and not you.

We can vaxx and mask our way out of this.

If you want articles to dictate what you believe. Your choice.

I prefer to try to look at data and then address the biases introduced.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to taking the vaccine. But there is a right or wrong when it comes to mandating it.

Just wondering. was the Federal government wrong when mandating vaccines for polio and smallpox. What about current state mandates for vaccines for public schools? Also evil in your words? Seems some of the biases may have been politically induced.

You aren't looking at the data. You are selecting out one fairly useless stat and ignoring all of the other stats (and hoping nobody brings them up).

And yes, contrary to what you may have been told, there are right and wrong answers for things. Just because you wish there wasn't in this case, because you have decided to tie yourself to the wrong answer, doesn't mean that there isn't.

So tired of the smallpox polio arguments…

We have decades of data. And there are exemptions for them as well. We are not trying to ruin families for taking them!

We have decades of data now. But did we have decades of data when the polio shots were new and mandates handed out? Of course not! Silly argument to wait decades until you have enough data to mandate a vaccine. How much unnecessary suffering and death that would've caused had this been our thought pattern in the past.

Over 5 billion COVID-19 jabs given world wide. More than any polio trial. The vaccine isn't 100% effective, but then no vaccine ever is. But the COVID-19 Vaccine does save lives, and is safe.
