It's tough watching him struggle out there. Corso has been my favorite in that crew, and my favorite Nole - love the guy but he really needs to retire before this gets any worse. Herb is basically covering for him when he slips up - hard to watch sometimes.
People like to beat up on Herbstreet, but I'll tell ya, he's had Corso's butt this whole time. I bet his contract has something in it about Corso. That kind of loyalty is rare. Good for him. And, good for Corso. Strokes are no fun. Debilitating at best. He's fortunate he can still be a part of their team through the support of his peers. Sometimes he really struggles. Other times not as much... Humanity show up at times and when it does, it's a beautiful thing Go Gators. Beat everyone
Thank you, @malscott - well said, as always. I left a comment on this video 10 years ago. It is still there at the top. I meant it then. And now. If this doesn't crack you up - nothing will......
Always interesting when I see Lee Corso. As a kid growing up in Miami, I remember seeing him play QB for Miami Jackson High School. The “Generals”.
Corso used to get nuclear heat back in the day (97-2001) for some of those picks he made. Used to be a small curse attached if he picked you on a day in October. My favorite recent Corso moment was a couple years ago when he picked Oklahoma St. and they gave him a giant musket to fire and he had that thing up against Herbstreit's head and almost pulled the trigger! They all started screaming and had to steer him the opposite direction.
Lee seems to be doing a bit better. He adds such a unique element to that show. It will be a sad day when he’s gone.
