Hopefully a transfer replacement for CJ Hawkins:

USC true freshman TE Michael Trigg. He's 6'4"/245, from Tampa, and he played TE/DE/QB in high school so he's quite the athlete. He is playing with stats in 21 so he'll have 4 years to play 3 if he transfers. He was rated 4 stars at .9402 on 247 Sports coming out of high school.

While we are at it, let's flip his half brother who is a 22 commit to USC:

Mykel Williams 6'5"/265 DL out of Columbus, Georgia. He's a high 4 star on 247 Sports at .9845.

Georgia is going to make a push for Mykel Williams, but UF could be the compromise alternative if Trigg and Williams want to play with each which likely is the case.

JMHO, it is doubtful that Williams sticks with USC through the coaching change or that Trigg would stay there if he has a good alternative closer to home.

Hawkins claimed the Gators were his child hood dream school, but when Stanford came offering he couldn't refuse.

I was hoping Hawkins would sign here. Good luck to him going to Stanford.

I know right. Makes me fearful that the WR from the 2023 class, who's committed and called UF his dream school, will pull an okie doke on us next cycle lol

Technically that means we should expect "dream school kids" to commit then

If he plays basketball there more power to him, but I think we need to have a better understanding of the kids' wishes when they commit.

If you want to play football here, that is it. Maybe track, but no basketball. Each of football and basketball take away too much development in the other sport to make it worthwhile to have someone sitting on the fence between the two sports.

Gibson followed by Stewart would be nice.

Premature, but welcome aboard Jayden. Don't dare to make me wrong!
