Viruses cause diseases. Covid is a viral infectious disease. I can't believe this needs to be explained. Heck, your link is entitled "Coronavirus Disease 2019" after the name of the infectious disease.

Nope, you're laughably wrong and doubling down on dumb.

There were 3,436,957 people in the study and 184,041 got covid. That's 5.35% of all subjects, not vaccinated subjects. Take another look at the study and get back to me with the percentage of vaccinated subjects who got covid. Hint, it's a lot lower than 5.35%.

It is laughable that you state it's sad that people "refuse to acknowledge the data... " when multiple posters have thoroughly and repeatedly shot down the sources, and data that are used to by anti-maskers. I'm 100% certain that covid is not age, nor gender conscious in its' transmission, but maybe slip something in there about kicking puppies to garner support instead.

Covid19 is a virus that CAUSES a disease. You go look up what the name Covid means. This isn’t complicated, but for some it sure seems to be.

Here's some conflicting data from the CDC. This shows vaccine immunity to be more effective. Does this mean the Israeli study is wrong? No. Because there are factors that can't be completely controlled that might have skewed the data one way or another.

And when you have conflicting data, it's unwise to make any definite conclusions until you figure out why the data doesn't match up. I postulated a few potential reasons such as genetics, variants, and which vaccines were used. Any difference in which could cause different results.

To answer the question, which is better, natural or vaccine, the only answer we have is it depends. And we're still trying to figure out why.

Look at the size of the study and that will tell you all you need to know. One is a huge study and the other one can almost be called microscopic. Those two aren’t comparable for that reason alone and trying To draw conclusions from such a small study is bad science

You stated that Coronavirus 2019 Disease is not a disease. Stop digging. You were wrong and said something dumb. Deal with it.

Lol. I repeat, just wow. Your argument is that Coronavirus Disease causes a disease but is not a disease? You are hilarious when you are wrong.

Here are results from a different British study. It showed vaccines to be more effective. When several small scale studies show different results from the large scale, and the large scale has potential issues such as homogenous population and only tested one vaccine, then saying the large scale study is definitive is bad science.

The study is a little misleading. They are showing 90% effectiveness for infection for Pfizer. For that to be true that is either pre Delta, or data for people shortly after 2 weeks. Pfizer vaccine effectiveness is much lower than vs infection several months out. The article later says natural immunity has a longer duration.

Whatever the case, I'm not sure why this is so important to some.

It’s like “hey, This huge study from Israel doesn’t fit my narrative so I’ll find anything to argue against it”. Not a good look. It’s ok to jump on the natural immunity train. Plenty of room.
