We don’t know anything definitively yet on the trafficking charges but it certainly doesn’t look good. Well the former Seminole County tax collector, is making deals to get his sentence under a decade. He is a sleazeball so I guess when he gets Gaetz indicted, you can say the eyewitness is a sleazeball but would anybody but a sleazeball help you procure teenagers for sex?
There are a lot of loaded statements there that presume sufficient evidence to charge Gaetz, let alone convict. And we don’t know what Greenberg told prosecutors or what corroborates what he says. So, I prefer to wait.

As you are free to do. I am not saying lock him up without a trial. He deserves every benefit the American legal system affords him. This doesn't change the fact that he is human sleaze. I find it appalling that he has been elected to office by the supposedly more moral party in this country. This reminds me of an old meme about Jerry Falwell and his Moral Majority. Aside from whether the law can prosecute him for crimes, theres plenty to prove he’s a scumbag, and almost certainly hooked up with the one girl while she was 17. Don’t need to see the legal case play out on that. All I know is you probably don’t want to hang your hat on “but she told me she was 18” to defend a politician who has openly demonstrated his overall scumminess and corruption in multiple ways. It very well could have been that she lied and that makes the possible sex crimes/trafficking less prosecutable, but to defend him? Strange. It would be like some lefty going to the mat for Anthony Weiner or some other oddball character, except this guy seems 10x worse.
