But he could play both DE and Buck, so that means he wasn't in the two deep for either position, and at DE Uman only got 2 snaps against Bama and at Buck Bogle only got 14 snaps. So in big games Chatfield was unlikely to get any snaps. He is a victim of our having a very young secondary that consistently needs to be protected with QB pressure, which we were able to do against Bama.

So Jalen Lee saw his 1st game action last week and is now listed 2nd on the depth chart against UK. That puts him ahead of The Mountain and Truesdale and gives us 6 game-ready DTs for the rest of the season. Would be nice to see Goods, Humphries, or Thomas get some PT this year, maybe in mop-up duty vs FSU in the 2nd quarter or something like that.
