Jumping ship? It hasn't even been 48 hours yet, hell they give missing persons a better chance in a longer period of time. The recruits.... and the FSU cheerleaders haven't even had time to pick their jaw off the ground yet let alone there be time for de commitment. But they will come, they're 0-2 and Norvell is only 3-8 overall with only wins coming against powerhouses UNC, Duke and Jax st. who they just lost to. After another loss or 5 shot won't be looking good.
The telling part is they are having to get affirmation tweets from pledges and we haven't even seen week 3 yet. This won't end well.
That's an optimistic view and I hope you are right. Keep in mind, though, commits they have now decided to pledge to a team that straight up waved the white flag and quit last season.

Yep. If they have a losing season most of their line commits will have much better options. Some will have UF as an option. I hope we play well this weekend. Easier said than done. The thing about Willie is, didn't they interview the guy? Were they surprised he was so inept. That's on them. He was not fired because he was black, he was fired for incompetence. I guess they could say they saw the opportunity to get the coach they wanted so they fired then hired but now that looks kind of hollow as well. Norvell looked weak and insecure in his presser. They've reached new lows...... like all time lows...... like Georgia southern type lows and we know how that went. Being 3-8 overall under your new coach who just lost to one of the only 3 teams he has beat (UNC,Duke, Jax st.) And losing for the 1st time ever to a FCS school is not a good look and is really gonna test those allegiances. Good performance losses are one thing as we seen after their week 1 loss to Notre dame, but losses to teams you paid nearly a million dollars ( or at least high 6 figures) to come and make you look good are an entirely different ordeal.
I could see this helping recruiting. Sell a kid on starting as a true freshman because they suck so bad, be remembered as the class that brought back f$u, etc. They just need 25 or so kids in the first year to believe that garbage. Doing it for the next 2-3 years is going to be a challenge.
