Nonsense. You dod it in the post replied to. And, if you want to call me “biased” in favor or the vaccines, I will accept the label. Because the facts support it. And, let’s be clear: you don’t support people making the best choice for themselves because science and data support vaccination. For most people and with few exceptions for certain circumstances, You support people making a bad choice for themselves and society. And you spread the disinformation and garbage philosophy for their selfish choices. Which is why the societal interest in curbing a deadly disease outweighs the personal interest of those who make the bad choice and why I support mandates. Why don’t you discuss the data about hospitalization rates? You just gloss over it and repeat those garbage philosophies that are killing people and hurting the economy in so many ways.

It isn’t authoritarian. It is a weighing of interests. No more than red lights are authoritarian. It is a garbage label. And I am fed up with the non-charitable selfish philosophy of the stupid.

Are seat belts, red lights, speed limits, professional licenses, building permits, MMR vaccines, business licenses all authoritarian moves too ?

Covid killed more americans in the last two weeks than died on 9/11.

Covid killed more americans in the last 2 weeks than died in Afghanistan over the 20 years we were there.

If you can’t understand my point was to show that neither the vaccinated or the unvaccinated are selfish…then he’s your bias is affecting your ability to analyze my response to a post.

Now you may disagree with my point. But I have never blamed the vaccinated for getting vaccinated. It is their choice. I have offered theories that it may have been better to role out the vaccine in a different manner (the way we did it might be the best way) as it is clear the vaccine did not help slow the spread. It is not blaming a vaccinated person for going out Covid positive because they think the drug worked. It is what the messaging told them. I have been in support of these drugs if you want to take them. I have also been in support of not taking the drugs. I come off as hard core on that side because so many here refuse to acknowledge it is okay to be cautious when it comes to taking these drugs.

Freedom is now a foreign concept in our post covid America. I guess not so amazing how the covid crew has manged to morph this into 'you're selfish', 'does't protect you it protects someone else' ,'it's being courteous', 'screw your freedom' and on and on. Sad part is, looks like the evil bastards will use any means necessary to make sure you and all your kids are forced to take this drug. Not sure there is any escape for you at this point.

I don’t get why people care about the unvaccinated. I mean going from Biden’s speech, vaccinated people have a 1/5000 chance of being infected from Covid compared to unvaccinated people. So why is everyone up in arms about the unvaccinated? If they choose to not get vaccinated, then that’s on them. Keep encouraging vaccinations and have PSA’s about it, but I don’t get the worry. I have zero worries about getting Covid because I’m vaccinated. Not living my life in fear or worrying about those who aren’t vaccinated. If a company wants to mandate it, then that’s their choice, but any mandate has to include an exemption for natural immunity. Otherwise it’s just a political move.

Being “cautious” means actually being open to the idea of taking the vaccine if the information you gather supports it. Maybe I’m wrong here, but I don’t get the vibe you’ve ever given it serious consideration. I think you made up your mind before there even was a vaccine and seek out data that supports your decision.

There are only 2 ways to get to herd immunity and kill the progression of future variants. One is hundreds of thousands of people get infected and die, the other is 90% plus vaccinations.

The selfish are choosing the former. Those with a brain and a soul are picking the latter.

Freedom is never free. The unvaxxed cost over $1 billion a month in hospital bills. My health insurance will go up to cover other people's freedom!

Your freedom to swing your fist ends where my face begins. People refusing to get the vaccine causes increase risk to all. Until we reach herd immunity, there is a risk breakthrough cases and increased risk of more variants.

Freedom also comes with responsibility. You have the right to bear arms and free speech. But try yelling "fire" in a crowded theater. Or worse, randomly shoot up said theater. And when the cops come to get you, try screaming, "But my free-dumbs!"

You are free not to take the vaccine. But don't expect your actions not to have consequences. And maybe you should try to better understand the sacrifices sometimes needed to ensure freedom. Our men and women in uniform understand, and we rightfully laud them for their service. But COVID is a virus, and an enemy we need everyone to chip in to defeat. We can all be free of COVID, if we all visited our local pharmacy and rolled up our sleeves. But I guess that's too much a sacrifice for some?

This is directed not to you specifically, but your statement about how not getting vaccinated is on them. I don't know about you, but I got vaccinated to keep myself out of the hospital/dying/long haulers, and to reach herd immunity so others won't die etc. In other words, win a war against the virus.
What do we have here? We have a disease that is spread by air by simply talking, laughing, yelling etc. Our hospitals were overwhelmed last summer. When the vaccine first came out and over a million people a day were being vaccinated, the numbers dropped like a rock, however, the virus stuck around and we ended up spreading a variant. Why? Because we trusted those that were not vaccinated to wear a mask when indoors as we reopened up everything! I don't know why these people refuse a cure for this disease, not for them, but for their country. How do you ignore that?

More and more evidence about the Covid-19 virus that is coming out... with shock you if haven't already read it. Fauci is looking more and more like Joseph Mengele every single day...

There are American Federal Laws against this kind of "research" being done in the U.S.A.. Now you know why Fauci and his cronies went to China to invet Covid-19 and then eventually spread it throughout the world.

Newly released documents provide details of U.S.-funded research on several types of coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The Intercept has obtained more than 900 pages of documents detailing the work of EcoHealth Alliance, a U.S.-based health organization that used federal money to fund bat coronavirus research at the Chinese laboratory. The trove of documents includes two previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as project updates relating to EcoHealth Alliance’s research, which has been scrutinized amid increased interest in the origins of the pandemic.

The documents were released in connection with ongoing Freedom of Information Act litigation by The Intercept against the National Institutes of Health. The Intercept is making the full documents available to the public.

“This is a road map to the high-risk research that could have led to the current pandemic,” said Gary Ruskin, executive director of U.S. Right To Know, a group that has been investigating the origins of Covid-19.

One of the grants, titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence,” outlines an ambitious effort led by EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak to screen thousands of bat samples for novel coronaviruses. The research also involved screening people who work with live animals. The documents contain several critical details about the research in Wuhan, including the fact that key experimental work with humanized mice was conducted at a biosafety level 3 lab at Wuhan University Center for Animal Experiment — and not at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, as was previously assumed. The documents raise additional questions about the theory that the pandemic may have begun in a lab accident, an idea that Daszak has aggressively dismissed.

What lunacy is this? Blame the vaccinated for getting vaccinated? Really? What mental machinations does one have to go through to suggest getting vaccinated, an act done in part to promote the public welfare, is arguably selfish.?

The vaccine did help slow the spread until the Delta variant caught up with the anti-vaxxer nutjobs aided by the incompetence of a governor who is more concerned with his political ambitions than the welfare of the state's citizens.

I understand you are the office manager for a dental practice. I certainly hope for the sake of its patients your casual indifference to medical safety and disease prevention does not carry over to that office and that you are at least adhering to the appropriate minimum standards established by the governing regulatory body/association.

He doubles down, read the second sentence of his post immediately above yours. It's been getting worse and worse ever since Biden landslided Trump.

    Here's the quote:

"Fauci is looking more and more like Joseph Mengele every single day..."

See you at the next Pro Choice rally? The evil bastards in Texas are paying people $10,000 bounties to turn in their neighbors for exercising their constitutional rights.
