Good thing about Reese too, say Eguakun is overwhelmed vs Bama, we can sub him out and go “big” on the interior with White, Reese, and Braun
I think I am more concerned about assignment and the shotgun snap with Eguakun than I am of being overwhelmed for size and strength. I thought he mostly handled himself pretty well.
I was on Moon’s neck all offseason as one I hoped didn’t take snaps from the underclassmen but he made me eat my words. He looked damn good at MLB
The TE in that first clip just blew his blocking assignment is the reason Moon blew that up. On QB counter, he should have gone directly at Moon instead of that jab step, the backside guard kicks the end, and the backside tackle rolls in to block #5. If the TE doesn't jab step, they have the backside tackle blocking #5 with the QB unmolested for at least 10 yards. As it was run, the TE doesn't get to Moon and Moon stuffs the backside T in the gap allowing him to play outside leverage and make the initial hit on the QB. The backside Guard whiffs on the DE but was effective as the DE wasn't a factor in the play. None of that is really the fault of any particular UF player. Moon did his job and there is nothing to suggest that Moon wouldn't have stuffed the TE either.
Beat Tech & East Carolina for him, yes! GatorsTerritory - Gators reel in a commitment from 2022 OL Jalen Farmer
He also visited in June. This kid had tunnel vision for UF. After seeing his Hudl film, I'd say that is a good thing. Insofar as being done is concerned, I think we're done at OL presuming Tony Livingston doesn't play himself out of the class playing QB and following that with keeping his weight down for basketball. Keep in mind, Clemson OL preferred walk on transfer Boateng will be looking for a ship in 22 after he earns it on the practice team. Nonar may not have a ship available when he gets around to committing. That could change depending on what is going on behind closed doors. See my post #131 in this thread.
