I think its fair to be in the middle. We did a lot if really good things. We did a lot of poor things. We should be playing a lot of players. We should be forcing 3&outs. We should be able to throw the ball against teams like fau. We made a bunch of unforced errors. We as a fanbase are split on if that's acceptable nowadays, but it's probably always been this way. I guess I had too high of hopes coming into this year. We did okay this weekend, but is that the standard?
the lack of 3 and outs is just how Grantham and the way he calls D on 3rd down is I’ve come to accept. Haven’t finished my rewatch but playing the corners off on third and short/intermediate reered it’s ugly head again Saturday night and an experienced QB like Perry took advantage of it
I Just don't understand why this 3rd down scheme issue hasn't been addressed yet. I know nothing about football compared to Mullen/Grantham yet Can't understand why this hasn't been a high priority issue to rectify. I mean it probably is but we havent seen it manifest in any definitive changes.
I saw a game where we played so conservatively and we still scored almost at will. We won't know where this team is until the Alabama game.
Definitely not the standard. Would rather find out where we need to improve now than after the Bama game. The reality is, a win like this helps more than a 70-0 route where it’s just a glorified scrimmage.
Surely FSU will now bring him back and make him Team Captain!...no way FSU dismissed him for something they didnt care about for the entire the last decade.
