I just read through the thread. Everyone called him a clown but I don’t see people posting what you claimed they are nor what his post predicted.

Gonna give you a hint, people who don't engage in sex crimes don't need a pardon for sex crimes.

 

This actually seems fairly consistent with what Gaetz said the extortion scheme was when the story that he was under investigation first broke (something along the lines of they knew Gaetz was being investigated for hiring prostitutes, they wanted to go rescue a former CIA operative in Iran that the feds think is dead, they needed $25 million to fund their off-the-books rescue mission, if Gaetz and his dad would only give them the $25 million he would be a national hero when the rescue mission succeeded and the public perception that Gaetz was a hero would make the investigation go away).

That being said, the idea that someone was trying to extort the Gaetz family and the Gaetz family reported it to the feds and was working with them to investigate the extortion is not inconsistent with the idea that Gaetz is himself being investigated for something too.

 

I'll take that bet, name the wager.

My recollection is that people were mocking Gaetz because the crazy extortion scheme doesn't actually clear him of being a pervy criminal.

 

At least he has not killed himself.

He may be but he behaves badly and earns some of the stuff thrown his way. Referring to half of America as commies (when that is clearly nonsense) isn't exactly being nice.
