Looks like I was right all along with this BS made-up lie about Congressmen Gaetz. and the bogus sex trafficking charge. I was right again.... It's all about extortion... Matt Gaetz Was Right: Con-Man Stephen Alford Indicted for Attempted Extortion of Rep. Gaetz's Family of $25 Million
LOL, wrong again. Frankly, I don't think you've been correct since calling the 2016 election for Trump. There have been an awful lot of swings and misses since. There might have been an extortion attempt, but that certainly doesn't mean Gaetz didn't do what he is accused of. It is far easier to extort a guilty person, someone with something to hide, than an innocent one. You are going to be very disappointed and lining up another crow buffet over Mr. Gaetz before too long, just be patient. Prosecutors are simply going through a huge lot of evidence recently turned over to them.
Any THFSG lefty worth his lemon juice and dill extract will tell you that Alford is innocent until proven guilty, and therefore Gaetz remains guilty until proven innocent.
So, you must be pleased that this indictment of Alford proves the likely prosecution of Gaetz is not politically motivated as many of the THFSG righties, in between their Nattly Lights and pickled pigs feet, were complaining?
Can't say I go around thinking much about it at all. I'm a contrarian. I don't have a dog in this silly fight. I just notice which side is stinking up the joint the most at any particular time and react. And right now, that's your side.
Seems like there is fairly solid evidence he was paying women for company. Whether he’s legally prosecuted I have no idea. He a caricature of a Republican. I hope he stays in office.
It did sound doubtful when Gaetz first said he and his family were being extorted. Obviously, there's plenty of evidence that it's true. But how is that supposed to mean there's nothing to the allegations of his sexual misconduct? https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...9c67e8-0a9a-11ec-a6dd-296ba7fb2dce_story.html
Matt Gaetz: Florida man Stephen Alford charged with attempting to defraud Gaetz's family over sex-crimes investigation - CNNPolitics "What is happening is an extortion of me and my family," he said, explaining that his got a text message "demanding a meeting wherein a person demanded $25 million in exchange for making horrible sex trafficking allegations against me go away." This was from a few months back. Notice Gaetz doesn't say the extortion attempt was to prevent allegations of sex trafficking. He says the extortion attempts were to make the allegations go away. Those are very different things.
Here's what we know. They could arrest Gaetz today and the "patriots" would say he's innocent and that the arrest was unwarranted
Exactly this I read the article and it was short on facts. All I realy glean from it was that this con man would get Gaetz a pardon from Trump for 25 million dollars. It didn't deal with any of the child rape charges that Gaetz is under investigation for.
And yet, regardless of the patent inaccuracies, omissions, and illogical conclusions based on false premises, the fringe-right reads it as if it were a bible - they just accept every word on faith. And then, when Hateway slips up and gets something accurate (by mistake), their disciples will point it out as of a “journalist” writing something truthful is an act of heroism.
OT: When I read that, I thought they were actually talking about the basketball coach, Steve Alford. Oops!
