All vaccines work by putting your body to work. Before mRNA, we used attenuated viruses, which are complete viruses with the "bite" taken out of them. They worked by triggering an immune response. Many vaccines require a booster, because immune responses often wane over time.

Again, medical professionals and scientists understand this. It's why there are 4 spots for shots on the vaccine card.

And while the wild type of COVID didn't effect younger people, plenty of data suggesting younger people are faring worse with delta. More and more younger people are in the hospital. And almost everyone of them under 60 could have been avoided had they been vaccinated.

As for long term effects. What do you think will be worse? A virus? Or just a small part of mRNA that mimics the virus, then starts breaking down in 8 hours?

It should be. Their message was clear. For so many unvaccinated, the only thing that will move them is being hospitalized.

Yes and not everyone takes a vaccine that is not necessary.

Until he or she gets infected and is infectious before he or she knows it? Or after.

Here you go again politely and subtlely spreading disinformation - through questions. The just asking questions approach. "Long term effects? "Leaky?" (WTF is that?).

These things have been out there for more than a year for some in the initial test groups. Billions administered. No vaccine in history has had hidden long term unknown side effects.

Does Q eat cats? We don't know. Does he get aroused when watching sesame street? We don't know.

    See how that works?

For real. I mean who is he even trying to convince at this point? It’s just pure selfishness. Disgusting really.

Yet we still see more and more folks continue to get vaccinated. If anything getting hospitalized means they are less likely to get vaccinated immediately because they'll have natural immunity for a duration...it may move loved ones to get vaccinated, though.

At a large rally, Donald Trump told his followers that vaccines work, he got one, and they should too. He was booed.

Doctors hold a rally and tell people that it is unvaccinated people filling the hospitals here.

You can have illusions about intelligent persuasion working.

Kumbaya. Let's love the virus spreaders overburdening our health system and putting first responders, health care workers and everyone else at risk.

Let's continue to try to persuade them with intellect and science they ignore, to own the libbies.

Right. Exactly. Because when they ask for the vaccine in the hospital, the doctors tell them that it is too late.

How do you square these two points? If somebody doesn't realize they are sick, they are spreading the virus but not spreading the virus?

Cute. But let's not pretend you are satisfied with the vaccination rate, which is the point.

This whole thing is completely idiotic and transparent and anyone who thinks it's "a thing" is also idiotic. Regeneron is a legitimate treatment for Covid and is in fact THE go to treatment for Covid in the early stages to try to prevent worsening symptoms and hospitalization. Encouraging people to get it is EXACTLY what should be done. It's hilarious that some liberals here the other day were claiming that Regeneron is only being given to the wealthy and connected (which is a lie) because it's the best treatment available but now that DeSantis has encouraged people to get it and made it available to more people he is somehow doing it to "enrich his donor". How much more completely moronic can someone be to believe that? These doses, 1.5 million of them to date and all the doses made so far, had already been purchased by the Federal Government a while ago. DeSantis and Florida didn't purchase them. Encouraging people to use them to stay out of the hospital and prevent worsening symptoms is now standard practice. BTW, Joe Biden is encouraging people to use these drugs too along with all the freakin' doctors at my hospital and just about every other hospital because they have shown a lot of promise. More so than others. And this "donor" you are yapping about also donated to the DNC. Does that make Biden his stooge? And BTW, just to make this story even more moronic, the "donor's" company, Citadel, owns a $15.9 million dollar stake in Regeneron. Their overall portfolio is around $39 BILLION making their Regeneron holdings chump change in their overall worth. And BTW, they also own far more shares of Pfizer and Moderna than Regeneron. So should DeSantis not be telling people to get the vaccines now so as to "not enrich his donor"?

Again, this whole story is stupid on it's face and transparent in it's design.
