That guy is proof that there is no grand conspiracy in our country. If there were, 99.99% of the population would sound like this idiot because people that stupid are for more easily manipulated and controlled. Right, Donald??

But it's currently spreading in schools in Florida. That's real time real world data. Don't you think you should at least consider it? Or are you only going to consider a study that took place in the UK under very different conditions?

So people are anti-vaxxers and then take livestock medication based on urban legend, internet, and word of mouth..... “how you feel?” “Great” “Ok it works!”. but don’t listen to the medical community and doctors.

    we are becoming a idiocracy

My vet told me to buy the dewormer from the feed store when a rescue dog I took possession of came with mange. It was much cheaper than human grade ivermectin. I sprayed it on his food(didn't inject it). I worry about people working out the dosage and injecting themselves. My vet gave me instructions and it was for an 85 pound dog.

The vaccinated are spreading this thing just as much as the unvaccinated. Shoot…I posit that part of the spread is because a lot of vaccinated may have had lessened symptoms that they put off as allergies or something not Covid and went out in public with Covid. Please do not take that as I think people should not have gotten the vaccine. It is just a real possible consequence of a vaccine that appear to be leaky and wane much quicker than expected. It’s not that people purposely let their guard down more than they were sold a story that provided a lot more confidence in how to proceed.

I think you are being too one sided on who spreads this. The idea that this is only the unvaccinated is just not right. And Israel again is showing us this. My only conclusion about the reporting is that over time the most of the serious hospitalizations are the unvaccinated. But as of Friday…over half of the current serious hospitalizations are fully vaccinated. Yes most over 60 and unhealthy. Yes most had their shots a while ago. But we are going to need to figure out how to navigate this thing for years if not our entire lives most likely. And I think second third fourth generation vaccines will be a thing one day. But right now we need to stop with the idea that this is the only answer. Or that is the only answer. And start working together. I think most now understand we are not going to reach herd immunity. As this thing is through your the world and likely variants are going to keep coming.

We will see how it plays out.

    Appreciate this response of yours.

I think that we are going about this all wrong. If we get Fauci to come out tomorrow and tell EVERYONE who has not been vaccinated to immediately take the full horse dose of Ivermectin for 2 weeks straight, one way or the other, this will end.

Decisions are tough on this one. Medicine is not simple. One thing works for you but not another. Another thing works for that person and not you. Somethings work for both and others neither.

There is probably a large dose of truth to this, however, we know for a fact that the RNA load as measured by PCR (note: that DOES NOT MEAN viral load no matter how many times ignorant media repeat it) in vaccinated people falls off rapidly after 48 hours on average where those unvaccinated it does not start to drop for 5-6 days. So, I would argue that vaccinated have the potential to infect just as many people within the first 48 hours, but by in large do not spread the virus as easily as those who are unvaccinated.

You pretty much nailed why people want to wait and see if there are real long term issues when the disease is not that dangerous to them. Now for others the disease is dangerous and taking the drug makes sense. Others are in the middle.

Needless to say…these rna drugs were brought to market very quickly with the manufactures immune from liability. It is a new technology. One with tons of potential. With that you should expect people to be skeptical if they are not at a high risk from the disease.

Let’s hope ADE is not a consequence of this…

Is Covid spreading faster in schools then the community? That’s the only thing that matters. Since we have data that it’s not, then let’s move on. Some people won’t don’t that unfortunately.

As of Friday over half of the serious cases in the hospital in Israel were fully vaccinated. Yes most over 60. And this is not to try and talk people out of the vaccine. It is to try and piece together facts about the virus. And why there is a major distrust of things in this country. As a UCLA doctor just wrote an Op-Ed last week and claimed that every singe Covid patient was unvaccinated. That is how you lose the people who are skeptical. When you make claims that make no sense based on the data…you are damaging the ability to get to your desired spot of convincing people to take the shot.
The bad news, doctors say, is that half of Israel's seriously ill patients who are currently hospitalized were fully vaccinated at least five months ago. “

I understand we are a much bigger country with a different healthcare system. And we are likely far more unhealthy than the Israeli population. But we should be able to get better data out so we can have an honest discussion.

We've now had 4 billion plus jabs all over the globe. And full FDA approval coming very soon. Let's see how much this moves the needle towards vaccinations.

There is also a flip side to the logic we don't know long term effects of mRNA vaccines. We also don't know long term effects of contracting COVID-19. Would you rather take your chances with the virus? Or with mRNA that starts to break down 8 hours after getting a jab?

I think for those who are unvaccinated if Fauci told them not to take a full horse dose of ivermectin, the un vaccinated couldn't get that anti parasite drug fast enough.

You continue to be obsessed with Israel. Please read this thoroughly and it explains the exact results in detail.

    https://www.covid-datascience.com/p...strong-when-60-of-hospitalized-are-vaccinated

    Summary:

80% of over 12 is vaccinated
    90% of elderly vaccinated
Adjusting for all these factors the vaccine hospitalization efficacy is over 88% for all age groups less than 80 years old and 80% over 80 years old.

they were vaxxed sooner, with higher %,and opened back up. Vax becomes less effective over rime. Expect it will happen here. Will need booster.

From my above post, this is from the same data that shows 60% of serious cases vaccinated. For most people the vaccine is still approx 90% effective against serious disease.

That's not to say a 10% breakthrough of serious disease (and 20% for 80 plus years old) is nothing to sneeze about.

Good chart. But missing natural immunity. That’s a huge missing piece.

Comorbidities and age. I read that 84% of hospitalized breakthrough cases are over 65; 20% of those die. From the CDC:

COVID-19 Breakthrough Case Investigations and Reporting | CDC
Hospitalized or fatal vaccine breakthrough cases reported to CDC 8,054
    Female 3,856 (48%)
    People aged ≥65 years 5,928 (74%)
    Asymptomatic infections 1,400 (17%)
    Hospitalizations* 7,608 (94%)
    Deaths† 1,587 (20%)

*1,883 (25%) of 7,608 hospitalizations reported as asymptomatic or not related to COVID-19.
†341 (21%) of 1,587 fatal cases reported as asymptomatic or not related to COVID-19.0%)

The number of COVID-19 vaccine breakthrough infections reported to CDC likely are an undercount of all SARS-CoV-2 infections among fully vaccinated persons. National surveillance relies on passive and voluntary reporting, and data might not be complete or representative. These surveillance data are a snapshot and help identify patterns and look for signals among vaccine breakthrough cases.

Data on patients with vaccine breakthrough infection who were hospitalized or died will be updated regularly. Studies are being conducted in multiple U.S. sites that will include information on all vaccine breakthrough infections regardless of clinical status to supplement the national surveillance.
