And this is only a surprise to people who don't understand virology, vaccines, and the immune system response to both. Again, why have four spots for vaccines shots on the vaccine card if there was never going to be a good chance that boosters will be needed?

Even in your quote, that mostly unvaccinated Americans are the cause for hospitalization increase shows the vaccine is working. Given the choice of a vaccine that will keep you out of the hospital and not taking the risk of not having any protection, what's the better choice? Clearly, the fact that the overwhelming majority of people in the hospital with COVID are unvaccinated, the clear answer is take the jab.

Not at all. In all of the prior spikes their was a one month dip in the death rate and then it started to increase in the following month. This one has decreased by an additional 34% 17 days into the second month.

This is much more reasonable than attributing it solely to increased cases. 48 days into increased cases most of the the early cases have already closed, for better or worse.

There’s a massive nurse shortage everywhere. That Houston situation didn’t create a nurse shortage specific to them. That was ~150 out of like 22,000 employees in a huge hospital system.

There actually is a concerning level of nurses and other health workers not vaccinated though. Guess they read the same garbage on Facebook as you. Nurses are not above that by any stretch.

Lol... I'm quite sure these nurses see far more real data on Covid (good and bad) and the efficacy of those vaccines...

But if you don't believe the front line nurses on Covid-19 then that's on you. I have my reasons why I feel the way I do about the vaccines.

So cherry pic the opinions of the fringe element of nurses over doctors and the overall majority of nurses. Makes sense....

Also, the CDC did not ACTUALLY say that, but rather horrible headlines intended to drive a narrative. What the CDC did say was the following: now, to some maybe that is a difference without distinction, but to an actual scientist, that bolded statement is miles, and miles away from the headline. People should know better!!

It's already rising. First 1,000+ death day since May. Going to get worse before it gets better. And largely unavoidable if people had just gotten vaccinated.

Right. The nurses see more data in the vaccines than the doctors, who are nearly universally taking it. Following stupid behavior is just being stupid. Why don’t you identify the data? While you are at it, why don’t you explain the significantly higher rate of disease and death among unvaccinated younger people now? What changed in the last 8 months or so? Your reasoning is perfect conspiracy thinking.

Nurses are subject to misinformation too. In fact even very smart individuals are subject to misinformation, disinformation, and pseudoscience.

How do you know that these nurses don't want to take the vaccine simply in the name of freedom and not because there is anything wrong with the vaccine?
