Well, I'm usually a pretty positive guy, but not so sure this helps the team. I guess with an empty scholarship, it's a tryout for a year.
The only practice he needs is FT shooting. That's the only thing he should do until season tip off. 100,000 good shots. He need to shoot free throws better than Cheese and Kacey when they first played.
They are all projects...even Scottie Lewis a 5* stud was a project. What you really meant to say was a reach and you don't think he will contribute at all.
He will be our 12th or 13th guy off the bench. Folks were clamoring for someone just to "use fouls, if needed". Well, this may be that type role . . . and probably less, at least to start. Tall kid, ridiculous wing span . . . maybe some upside. I am not reading too much into it.

I will take a shot at this and say it was PJ Hall who is now at Clemson. His older sister Thayer is on the UF volleyball team and there were several predictions he was coming to UF until the odd out of left field Osayi Osifo thing went down.
I would have saved the open scholly for a 2022 recruit or a mid year transfer. strange take IMO. this staff does not get the benefit of the doubt after the Osifo fiasco.
