I knew a girl that died wearing her seatbelt. Does that mean they are a bad idea percentage wise for the rest of us?
I understand hesitancy. I had it myself.

But articles like this are sad, but immaterial to the story.
Some vaccinated people will die. Many more will be saved.

Some people will die in a seatbelt while obeying traffic laws too.
It doesn't mean we should all drive 120 mph with no seatbelt.

Not twisted at all. Last week it was reported on Monday that there were 405 serious cases and about 250 were fully vaccinated.

    Israel's COVID-19 Vaccine Breakthrough Cases Exceed 50%

Wednesday it has climbed to around 450 with 267 I believe not fully vaccinated. Now the reports are all about the people over 60. Honestly…I was hopeful to continue and get solid data out of Israel. I hope your report reflects good news.

I had provided the link last week already backing my claim to a site that used the Israeli dashboard for their report (post 24670). Just reposted it again. Hope the new report is a positive one from duchen.

These charts lack a lot of useful info.
For starters what are the population densities of the counties with and without?

Population density doesn't seem to be a huge factor in Covid spread. This chart is helpful.

I wonder how the schools are learning about positive cases. Are they testing children at the school? I agree that the situation is just a mess. Some parents are petitioning school boards to implement mask mandates. Others are threatening SB members and health care experts, demanding FREEDUMB. School policy makers are having their hands tied by opportunistic governors who really don't give a $hit about the wellness of children.

Serious cases and hospitalizations in Israel are clearly more numerous among the unvaxed. This was explained earlier.

Numbers alone are nothing without context. Here's some context to add to the discussion. It's hospitilization rates in Israel due to COVID.

In only tracks through March, but you can see the peak of 60 and over at over 1,000 around the beginning of the year. The climb back up to over 400 is likely due to Delta, but it's still significantly less than the peak Israel had before anyone was vaccinated.

It's also not a surprise that even when vaccinated, those 60 and older will have more complicated breakthrough cases. From this article:

LONDON—As the Delta variant of the coronavirus surges through the U.K., almost half of the country’s recent Covid-19 deaths are of people who have been vaccinated. But doctors and scientists aren’t sounding the alarm about the apparently high proportion of deaths among the vaccinated population.

On the contrary, they say the figures so far offer reassurance that vaccines offer substantial protection against the variant, particularly after two doses. Delta, first identified in India, has since spread to at least 85 countries, including the U.S., where it is now estimated to be the most common variant.

These are active covid patients (i.e. hospitalized) in Israel. Guess which color represents the unvaxxed? I wonder what is @QGator2414's interpretation of the data.

I swear people in Florida have no common sense. My neighbor had COVID yet she sent her kids to school and let her kids play with my kids without telling us she had COVID. No quarantining at all with her family. Another person I know sent her kid to school COVID positive. No mask.

That was the encounter I had last week. Found out my sister's friend has two kids that were both positive and she didn't tell anyone, we found out because one of the kids told a friend. We called to verify and sure enough they had a house full of covid and didn't tell anyone or quarantine. Mom is a rabid trump anti-vaxxer.
Mom is also a dental hygienist and is still working (her husband is the dentist). Seems like that should be illegal.

That is absolutely stupid to be working with Covid. We are dealing with it at our office with multiple employees out. One is negative but husband is positive and multiple in her family have it or just finished having it (likely has it even though she tested negative). If we know of anyone with high risk contact then they do not work without a negative test. If they test negative and start to show any symptoms they are to go home immediately.

I will say that everyone picked it up away from work in our case. Which matches the data on dental offices. You are not likely going to get Covid at the dental office. That said...there is no excuse for a dental practice to be operating the way you described. The dentist should be testing daily before working on patients right now. And the hygienist should be out and nowhere near the office in quarantine.
