He sure didn’t help. As bad as he’s handling fla it could spread. But agree with you, he has had awful leadership.

We lost another in my area today. Vaccinated but immunocompromized with Lupus. Was part of the EMS program administration at our local college. That makes 8 just in my circle I either know personally or of through friends/family that have passed from covid. Couldn't keep her BP up amd she was maxed out on vasopressers already while also on a vent. I feel awful for her spouse who loved her dearly

Sad example for all the folks who say not getting vaccinated only affects the person not getting vaccinated, so it's their business if they get vaccinated or not. Children and vaccinated immunocompromised people would disagree.

If the elderly were not vaccinated at high levels, the hospitalization rates would be astronomically high. That it isn’t shows the effectiveness of the vaccines that the right wingers won’t take. That young people are being hospitalized at higher rates shows that Delta took hold and spread before we could get to effective herd immunity levels.

    From the link:
An interesting theory, but the evidence doesn't support it in any way.

Got two minutes into it, and basically Joe Rogan, Bret Weinsten and ivermectin. She seems to be just parroting podcasts. None of this disinformation is new, and has been discussed ad nauseum in here. If there is new insight in the other 47 minutes let is know. The fact that an ICU covid nurse leads her video with Joe Rogan, Bret Weinstein podcast and ivermectin to me indicates the usefulness of her information (or lack of it)

For the record, I'm open to the possibility that ivermectin could be useful, but to date there is no useful evidence to support it, and there is little theoretical evidence to support it.

How is a random video better or more valid evidence than the weight of multiple controlled studies?

Seems one of the biggest problems is that people go chasing after these vids rather than trying to get better informed about the science. Don't get me wrong, I get the psychological appeal to claims of *you're being lied to*--but ya gotta reject impulsive, uncritical acceptance.

Florida pastor takes matters into his hands after 6 parishioners under the age of 30 die of Covid-19. Sets up vaccination drive in conjunction with UF Health.

For those who say you cannot insult, embarrass or force people to be vaccinated....you are 100% correct. That is why leadership at the most local level, pastor of a parish, is so critical. In one Sunday following service, he helped to get over 200 of his parishioners vaccinated.

    Well done paster.

After six churchgoers die from COVID-19, pastor runs vaccination drive
