Is DeSantis not advocating for vaccines? Because I know he is so then what’s the point?

Look, just because his actions make it look like he isn't in support of vaccination, doesn't mean he hasn't said words about how people should get vaccinated.

That doesn’t mean he’s not advocating for everyone to get vaccinated.

It was also good to see that we had a transgender expert. I don’t even know if I’ve ever met a transgender person, yet we have a bona fide expert right here on these boards.

Just spent time (outside) with a good friend if mine who works the ICU at a local hospital in Jax. She said its really bad, but that almost everyone (including 3 vaccinated) that are there are all obese. Most extremely obese. So if you're obese and an anti-vaxxer, sounds like you're really playing with fire.

He's sent a very clear message that both vaccines and masks are not required with his EOs and laws. He's handcuffed the State University system from requiring student vaccinations while colleges in other states have been able to do so. Advocating, sure.

Yes. This is why some people have long term effects. For some, The immune system doesn’t return to normal levels. Presumably they are giving him antibiotics for secondary opportunistic bacterial infections? And have tested and rules out other causes?

He pushes for everyone to get vaccinated. Has nothing to do with masking. Masking doesn’t work in his opinion and many others, including the CDC and the WHO until a year ago even though no new RCT studies have come out saying masks work.

I am glad you are getting better. And your family too. Having been vaccinated and having had the disease, you should have strong immunity now. Your sister’s symptoms are what they classify as moderate illness. Not hospitalized. The disease is really nasty. Btw: the runny nose is characteristic of Delta

Just shows that his entire approach to presenting misleading, out of context data, misinterpreting data and overlooking contrary data and met-analysis was always political

    Damn.

My neighbor got covid about a year ago and still doesn’t have her sense of smell back. For a couple of months, everything smelled like dog crap but that went back to just no smell.
She did lose a bunch of weight though.

Looks like fully vaccinated young adults outdoors can be squashed together and still not result in too much spread and infections. Not sure if I would try it if I were still their age but still interesting.

Me wearing a mask doesntbprotect me if an infected person isnt masked. If the infected person is masked, their infection doesnt become aerosolized and is too big to pass through their mask . This has been explained dozens of times here with links and yet some still dont get it..smdh

Delta has taken the option to be patient away. It doesn’t care what we want to do. Get vaccinated or be part of the problem.
