If we got at minimum two of those, I would be OK with this OL class. I would just be disappointed that there was potential for better.
I’m thinking the magic number to bring in this cycle is 4 well 3 more if Livingston sticks/makes it in. leaving after 2021: Delance Reese Unless White or Gouriage become AA, I see them back in the O&B in 2022. Our depth chart in 2022, in NO ORDER, could be LT: Gouriage, Harrod, Barber LG: White, Yousef, Simonds C: Egaukun, Leonard, Slaughter RG: Braun, Boateng RT: Tarquin, Mincey I know the OL gets cross trained so obviously the postions aren’t set in stone but that’s what it COULD look like going into next year
There are some great prospects on that list. Hope the Gators can take their pick of those listed and possibly others
i think numbers are good on the interior as far as true interior OL go, it’s just getting true tackles which is why, and I don’t believe it will happen, but Harris should be priority numero uno
2023 kids offered Payton Kirkland Payton Kirkland, Dr. Phillips, Offensive Tackle Miles McVay Miles McVay, East St. Louis, Offensive Tackle Tommy Kinsler (really think we get him) Tommy Kinsler, Trinity Catholic, Offensive Tackle Vysen Lang Vysen Lang, Pike Road, Offensive Tackle Zay Alexander Zay Alexander, Tupelo, Offensive Tackle Shamurad Umarov Shamurad Umarov, Denmark, Offensive Tackle Logan Reichert Logan Reichert, Raytown, Offensive Tackle TJ Shanahan (UF legacy) TJ Shanahan, Timber Creek, Offensive Line Knijeah Harris (UF "leads" but he's IMG soooo) Knijeah Harris, IMG Academy, Offensive Line Iapani Laloulu Iapani Laloulu, Farrington, Offensive Line
Why was the other OL recruiting thread just locked after 46 pages?? 5 locked threads on the first page now, huh.
Thinking the Hev bashing pushed em to lock it so it’s on to a new one that I’ll do my best to keep the Hev talk to a minimum lol
David Conner getting two CB’s to UF today from 247 doesnt look the “fleetest” of foot at OT which makes me wonder if he’ll maintain speed when he packs on 30-40 pounds (if he plays at his current weight of 270ish)
No traction with UF. He talked with some interest last year but been radio silence ever since. Dont even think he’s an immediate take at FSU and he’s a legacy. Miami not on him hard either. Most think LSU
Aye man….screw Conner, what’s good with his teammate who a 2022 kid Tapuvae Amaama, Skyridge, Offensive Line
Conner Farmer Harris-tough pull here as gotta be between us and Auburn. FSU gotta be full. Boateng These are the 3 I see. I think Boateng was a very good pick up and will play in the 2 deep once eligible.
Never seen such a cocky attitude from a 3 star middle of the pack OL pickup. Yeah we suck at recruiting OL but this kid just sounds like a douche - 3 star demands a team guarantees his brother gets a PWO and then talks about getting spammed like other coaches don’t hit him up like any other recruit, ok bro.
EVERY article I've read about this kid has some sort of dig at UF or UF coaching staff. I really hope he's off our board / we have no interest. Agree, cocky for such a low ranking and offer list. I guess he wanted the red carpet to be rolled out like he was a 5* down to a couple schools. Something seems off here with this kid and UF expressing interest has only elevated his exposure, to complain about us. He probably thinks he's going to be a millionaire with a NIL deal in a year too.
