What flaws did you see in the study?

LOL. I provide the data. You try to poo-poo it. Sorry that "long covid" isn't a thing for kids. Maybe next time.

Important update to this story from virologists on a podcast. At least half of the samples from the allegedly infected, vaccinated who tested positive via PCR, tested NEGATIVE for any antigen. So they possessed RNA strands, but not fully in tact, viable virus.

There may be growing evidence that what we are seeing is the vaccine doing exactly what it is supposed to do. People can and do get infected, but the vaccine neutralizes the replicating virus quickly, but the body does not clear the remnant RNA fragments the PCR test does not distinguish between RNA fragments from RNA in viable, replicating virus.

As I posted earlier, it excludes important symptoms that are quite common in those with long COVID including children- particularly neuro-cognitive symptoms. Among those sampled and found to be PCR positive, only 24% appear to have had information deemed complete enough for analysis. It also does not match up with the ONS long COVID study estimates. No mention of relapsing and remitting nature of the disease. The study relies on parents reporting for children through a Zoe symptom tracker. The study acknowledges that those using the app are more likely to be white & higher socio-economic status, both associated with reduced risk of poor outcomes. Many parents stopped logging symptoms after some time, including those with prolonged symptoms. This was taken to mean symptoms had resolved. There are a few others.

Too funny. People think a kid having headaches or being lethargic might be a "long covid" issue when most likely it's from being socially isolated from their friends. You keep thinking it's real. The rest of us will live in the real world.

And I addressed the data as flawed and incomplete. You can’t just post a study without interpreting the data and then claim a conclusion as fact. How about you address the issue of those that were sampled only 24% participated, and many of those didn't have complete information? Why don’t you address the fact that the study omits Neuro-cognitive symptoms? I’ll tell you why, because you have no earthly idea how to interpret data and have no clue what’s going on. You can’t just look at the conclusion without interpreting the data.

Go look at the ONS data and the other COVID research out there that show that significant numbers of children have symptoms even lasting over 1 yr.

Maybe next time you’ll actually read a study before claiming a fact.

COVID fatigue is not the same as normal fatigue. Never met a kid that was fatigued 24/7 for a year for being isolated. And where are kids being isolated? We haven’t had any lockdowns since early last year. Also, the study claims that 4.4% of kids have long COVID so how could it not be real as you falsely claim?

You must be new to this thread because we have 100s of pages of this guy doing exactly that. He thinks the Danish mask study proves that masks don't work despite the fact that the study only looks at the mask wearer and not those around the wearer. From day one people have been saying that masks primarily protect other people and not the mask wearer. The Danish study doesn't look at that at all, only the wearer (and it still shows a lower incidence of covid amongst mask wearers, but not statistically significant). You can explain this to him a thousand times and it won't matter. He still thinks the Danish study proves that masks don't work. He must think surgeons wear masks to protect themselves rather than the people they operate on.

Technically, we never had a lockdown anywhere in the United States. People over dramatizing the Shelter-In-Place orders. I never heard of any city, county, state banning people from leaving their homes.

Agreed, what we had for lockdowns was nothing compared to what some other countries instituted.

LOl. That is what the Danish mask study says. Sorry again for ruining your precocious mask theory. Just like I ruined your lockdowns and school closure theories.

Now we are calling what CA did not a lockdown. I do like that we change the rules to fit the narrative. Good job.

Tell me when any city, county or state prevented people from leaving their homes. No walking, no shopping, no gas station, no work of anykind so all businesses were shut down. Go ahead, show me where that happened.

It won't matter. All it will do is create an empty exchange with no reason or logic from one side. Then we have to sift through the insane back-n-forth in order to read the reasonable posts. Putting that person on ignore helps, but one still has to sift through responses to their inanity.

California becomes first state to order lockdown

“ -The nation’s most populous state is ordering its nearly 40 million residents to stay home to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

You don’t get to make up the rules on what constitutes a lockdown.

Lmao, wow your own study you posted said 4.4% of kids get long COVID. It’s obvious you don’t even read your own studies when you claim NO long COVID in kids.
