Outside if Nolen, the DL has been quiet as far as buzz go with the 2022 class. Targets that we know of so far that seem to have high interest in UF:

    Francois Nolton (committed)
    Walter Nolen
    Dominick James
    Daniel Lyons
    Jamari Lyons
    Marvin Jones
    Chris McClellan
    Jordan Phillips

He is not on your list in the original post. Does that mean we are not in it for him? Thought I read he liked his vis8r though could have been someone else.

Thinking Kenyatta Jackson doesn't have that much interest in us or staying near home?

honestly forgot about him. Hate to ask this, but doesn’t it always feel like we always have to wait for the dominos to fall for kids and other schools and we get the scraps? I wish we’d kickstart commits and everyone else panicked

    Bobby,

I know we’ve talked about them before but I’ll take both Lyons boys and then any 2 of the others.
McClellan and Nolen are huge gets and make this top 5 In country if we get either one

    Nice list Bobby -

Dumb question from the rank and file:

Is it more imperative for Grantham to bring in the best Defensive Ends as compared to tackles, nose guards?

I ask because I have been constantly told Grantham's "keys" to defensive success is "pressure" - ala Greenhard. Obviously blitzing linebackers are important to.

Just seems to me with his defensive philosophy that if he does not have supreme rush end talent his defense's take a step back.

    Thoughts?

It's definitely a good question. Greenard wasn't the best, but he did excel in our defense. Just as no one has been able to really look good at the Star position minus a short run by cgj. It's odd for sure.

Greenard was pretty damn sporty. Wish we had another.

That's funny, that date lines up with Q. Sapp's commitment date. July 3rd. Wonder if that was planned or just a coincidence. Curious if those 2 visited UF same date. I know Sapp was there weekend of the 11th.

Totally agree. When Greenard was healthy, he was virtually unblockable.
