As a kid pitching at Yankee Stadium was my dream. Being on the faculty at a good school was my other dream.
Brady only gave up 2 ER but he also only lasted 3.2IP. Gave up 5H and 5BB so his WHIP wasn’t good. Both runs were solo shots.
Not Gator related but it is Central Florida related. Zach Grienke is having a quietly good year for a 37 year old. We both graduated HS the same year in Orlando though I never faced him (thankfully as he would have made me look worse than I already did!). Even in Little League, I was in Altamonte and he was Apopka I think. Just never ran across him. He is 8-2 with a 3.74 ERA. Considering he no longer has the gas he had early in his career, his ability to get smarter and more creative is quite the testament.
