Mat— I think for Barco a chance to refine/polish his game. For Sproat this could be really good. A chance to gain some confidence and momentum for 2022. Back in my day this team was merely called the United States College All Stars as Team USA was not yet born but formation of the roster was similar. I was fortunate enough to get to play on this team two summers in a row. Being around a bunch of really good players has its own way to push you as an athlete to be the best that you can and I’d love to see this push both of our guys to the front of the line to pull the wagon.
Even so I think it is good to hear what and where our guys are at during the summer. Sure everything is just conjecture at this point that's why I don't remove players like Mace or Leftwich off the roster for now. But hey if the guys want to toss around what they think will happen to so and so have at it. That's what all this is for no matter what time of year it is.
There's a bunch to be happy about right there. Fabian batted .462 with 13 home runs for the Colts, and also drove in 52 runs in 29 games But what I'm most pleased with is he can occasionally hit the low outside slider the other way. Somehow he got another set of genes than his brother and is obvious in their two different body styles. That 13 HRs is suppose to be a NMHS record. What's amazing is how many talented kids his dad helped develop here in Ocala back in Little League days that are still excelling in baseball. It also helped to be smart enough as a contractor to build an attic space big enough for a batting cage.
Sounds like Jud is going pro. Seems a really good guy and wish him all success. I like the Mookie Betts comp... why not.
Not sure on the eligibility rules, but heard second hand that Kirby might try and finagle another go round.
Dropped in a working lineup based on the players from last year and those that have not announced their intentions for tracking purposes. Also starting to track pitchers in the the OP. Schedule and possible batting order will be added in the fall or there after.
More names in the transfer portal: Ryan Cabarcas: 6/24 Jordan Carrion: 6/23 Benjamin Specht: 6/10 Chase Centala: 6/9 Hunter Mink: 6/8 Cory Acton: 6/8 Brock Edge (grad): 6/8 Jordan Butler: 6/8 Mark Roberts: 5/3
Carrion? Very sorry to hear. Not sure why he was not used down the stretch- he had one series where he looked overmatched but so did others who did not sit. He is versatile and has solid potential- it's a loss.

Horns I think my invitation for the College AllStar Team was lost in the mail.. I’m sure it will show up soon
