Well, his current opponent is Governor Rape Dungeon, sorry ex-Governor Rape Dungeon, so I guess it could be worse.
The guy is trying to spin peeing himself over people walking down the street with being some tough guy...how Trumpian.
They plead to misdemeanors and were assessed fines. The weapons were destroyed. "On Thursday, Mark McCloskey pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree misdemeanor of assault and was ordered to pay a $750 fine, while Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty to a second-degree misdemeanor of harassment and mandated to pay $2,000. Neither will face jail time, though the pair's firearms will be destroyed by state authorities." McCloskeys plead guilty to charges after gun-toting display
That could be a good show, she could interview guests while pointing a gun at them, while he stands in the background clutching his AR 15. It might even beat Tucker in the ratings if they get racist enough.
Thank goodness they won’t do any time for this but disappointed they had to guilty plea it down to a misdemeanor to make it happen. A miscarriage of justice that the DA wasted so much time on this.
Why? The woman in particular definitely committed a crime. Knocking it down to a misdemeanor is about right considering it was probably done out of ignorance as much as anything (obv zero firearms training). Do you think adjudicating all crime is a “waste of time”, or just the ones that get turned into right wing heroes?
The husband has decided to run for the Senate. https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article251512028.html
Why don’t you point a deadly weapon at someone walking past your house on a sidewalk and see how that works out for you.
Sure. But that’s not what happened This woman was pointing a gun at people who didn’t intrude on her property. I guess if you want to test out the legality of what she did, you can stand on your front lawn and wave a gun at people as they go by, warning them to stay off your lawn. Either the police will come do a “wellness check” on you, or you too can be a right wing hero. Good luck!
