That's cuz there's never blue sky in winter in Columbus. Heck you don't even see the sun for weeks there that time of year.
It takes all types. God bless the folk that love that old weather. Lettem enjoy the snow and ice. I’ll take shorts, sweat and swim wear EVERYTIME.
pOSU CB Sevyn Banks from Orlando, who was a mid 4*, might be first DB taken in 2022 draft. So they’re 1 of 3. Good for baseball, but not football player development.
Well, when we can come close to guaranteeing a playoff spot and maybe not a scooter involved, things may change.
puswah Average August high in Coumbus, OH: 84 Average August High in Hogtown: 91 Both are hot January in Columbus: 36 high/20 low January in Hogtown: 68/43 Now that's a huge difference! Kind of like the girls (see below) Corn-fed
It's more like 10's of thousands of dollars involved. These kids aren't going up to freeze their asses off cuz they have an easier chance to get to the playoffs. Money talks.
Majority of the rosters of Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State aren't filed with in state guys. Players are flocking to these programs from out of state for the potential to play in the NFL and/or CFB Playoffs. The question we have to ask is why are these young men forgoing he opportunity play closer to home. OSU has signed more 5 star players from Jacksonville in the past 5 years than the Gators have. The starting QB for Alabama last season is from Jacksonville. This is a systemic problem bigger than Singletary.
It's more about the $$$$$$ they, their family or their handlers are getting when it comes to the 5 star and really high 4 star guys. Those schools probably get a few kids they don't need to pay to come there also. Just like us.
No disrespect but without proof slander is the tool of losers, last I checked Mullen is the one currently serving a one year show cause.
I saw his post a lot in 2005-2008. Except it was on our rivals boards and Urban was the one paying all the players. Dan needs to close.
We regularly saw -30 to -40 on the post from November through February or later. December 2001 we were training at the base of the mountains for 10 days with only what we could carry on our backs and drag in our sled for the squad. it was -80 with wind chill. I never get cold anymore after that duty station.
