I don't know if the story is satire or not, I originally saw it linked to a newsweek article, but it's behind a paywall. I think QAnon may have been taken over trolls who post crazy stuff.
The Austin Power's hallway scene was the very first thing I thought of. I imagine many others as well. I saw earlier a map plotted with the movements of the ship. Not sure if anyone has posted it yet. Lemme see if I can find it.
I don’t know how to measure this but could this be the most expensive shipwreck/ run aground in history?
Saw something like that in St. Pete. The driver was making a left across a busy 4 way intersection and flipped the boat off the trailer right in the middle of the intersection. Didn't slow down enough, I guess.
Must not have had trailer straps/tow straps running port-starboard. Otherwise the trailer would have flipped too. Florida man . . .
Yeah, I saw that, not sure I buy it. Fuel cost is everything for those guys and, unlike a plane, they can actually just stop when holding.
Admiralty law limits that liability, at least in the United States. And international maritime law is all kinds of antiquated.
From a Facebook comment about this story - “This ship is blocking a bunch of important things from getting through. It should be renamed "McConnell".
