and imo, they are going to have to get worse before getting better. The stench that Heupel has to clean up, and possible sanctions too, means he’s gonna grow gray hairs at warp speed rate lmao

It's shocking how far UT has fallen.

Good school, great facilities, great location.
How did this happen? Not that I'm a UT guy, I'm not but they
are not even a rival anymore.

That period of Fulmer “leaving” and Kiffen bolting after one season set them back BAAAAD. Even when Butch Jones was recruiting we and they’d have a few 9 win seasons, you just knew it was fools gold like when Mac was winning here.

that and really didn’t set the world on fire at UCF either. He was solid but clearly a step down from Frost

He needs to check his sources, uga doesn't use the portal just ask kirby

Not sure how I feel about us being in for this one. Obviously talent wise it's a no brainer, but having been dismissed makes me hesitate (although dabo spoke rather highly of him on the way out the door)

Definitely agree, especially if he's only here for a year. Might get a little better CB play but at the cost of experience for the young guys, plus might rock the boat and cause one of them to leave.

Since Gilbert's not coming, how many counters do we still have? 2?

Agree, no way I burn a valuable counter on a one year guy with a shaky past at that position.

especially at a position where if he was really that good, he would have went off to the NFL imo.

I'd take him. I can't remember ever a time we wouldn't want a former 5* CB who was the best DB on a powerhouse Clemson team. With our struggles in the secondary last season and the fact that we have basically Elam as the defacto alpha at that position group and no other proven player I say bring him in opposite of Elam with as much Nickel package as we run we could easily still play our talented freshman DB's. I like Marshall and the rest of those guys coming in but there is a chance they may need some developmental time before making an impact. Idk , barring any concerning character issues (as we still don't know the reason he's leaving) I'd take him for one year. CB is one position that we tend to use a good bit of players at through out the season and I wouldn't be concerned about running off any of these incoming players, they know they'll get of the field when they ready.

We have some talented second year guys that should see the field quite a bit. We have a lot of db’s with expectations of playing time . It could definitely upset the apple art and I’d consider him too if he wasn’t shown the door at Clemson.
