The citizen investigation site Bellingcat does great work on public corruption using crowd sourcing.

They have uploaded a bunch of videos of the insurrection taken by Parler users that were obtained by a hacker and sent to them. The FBI obtained the same videos from AWS by subpoena, including the embedded GPS coordinates. The quality is high-def. They are on the Parler YouTube channel.

Disgusting stuff.

The open carry states create nightmare scenarios especially ones that have NRA backed laws enabling civil penalties for some actions. The GOP and the NRA had major achievements for a decade according to RT.

My mistake. I edited my post. The officer who was hit had a helmet on. Would likely have been much worse if he didn't.

 

According to this, it bounced off and hit two other officers. One was not wearing a helmet.

Don't know if it was posted on this thread or if people have seen the video, but the security guard that the mother hit has one helluva a right jab. She lit the mother up with that punch. Seemed to me a justifiable response.

 

Probably assigned to patrol the Capitol grounds and surrounding area on a bike would be my guess. My question is why is some unidentified person's arm - a cop possibly - spraying orange paint over the rioters? Is it possibly for identification purposes after the mob was dispersed?

 

If there wasn't a work order for that as a repair someone has some splainin to do. Were they removed elsewhere?

 

We haven't seen any Capitol Building CCTV imagery. Yet.

With the tours of the Capitol Building the day before, and disabling of panic buttons, I'm starting to thing they weren't worrying about all the CCTV cameras. Have seen no reporting on CCTV at all.
