The mob had help from inside. If this is true what should be done with Reps Gosar, Brooks, and Biggs. In this tweet, Gosar tags one of the mob organizers Ali Alexander

It's not about caving. It's about the First Amendment. He's claiming it's a religious belief based on his (silly) religion. But courts aren't allowed to inquire into the legitimacy of sincerely held religious beliefs. The thing is, though, that if he fucks up and eats something that isn't organic (proving it's not a sincerely held religious belief), they can stop giving him organic food.

Treason is punishable by death, of course this is more like sedition, which does not carry penalty of death. *BUT* I’ve seen some talk of foreign money being used to fund some of this stuff, anyone working with foreign nation-states, that gets you back towards treason.

Of course it would be shocking for a member of the house to be charged with anything at all. How about we at least get some resignations? Kind of amazed there haven’t at least been a couple already. Sad state of affairs with the GOP right now, ZERO accountability so far. They behave as children. Violent children.

Treason is not going to be charged. It is specifically defined in the Constitution and has a higher proof requirement, needing the testimony of two eyewitnesses of the treasonous act.

Thank you for providing a comeback structured in the mid-90's style, which falls somewhere between a Wayne's World-style "...Not!" and a "Hey the [insert decade] called and they want their [insert item] back". Nice throwback.

Pelosi said her young staffers knew to barricade the door, turn out the lights, and be silent, because they learned it in school.

    That makes me sad.

LE has gone silent for a reason.

How did all of these people afford flights, nice hotel rooms and have access to flags, signs, weapons, etc. in DC?

The next week is going to be absolutely nuts and it may not stop there.

Oh i expect to be disappointed in the final disposition of these cases, there will be zero charges of treason brought.

I was just saying if some of these organizers (other than just potus) prove to be agents of foreign governments (ala Mike Flynn who was an agent of Turkey, and I wonder now if he’s not still on somebody’s payroll...). If you are on a foreign adversaries payroll, and lead an insurrection against your own country, I’m not sure how that is NOT treason. On a moral level it most surely is.
