Who knows for sure why she was tweeting about Pelosi as the Capitol was being overrun. But it is odd. Did any other congress people tweet about Pelosi during the riot? As for her not giving more explicit directions, deniability is certainly a possible reason. Here were are debating it. More specific tweets regarding Pelosi's location would have removed all doubt.

Nope. DC isnt a state and DC doesnt have jurisdiction over the Capitol grounds. So its not really a DC issue. Its the capital police that was not prepared.

Inside job investigation continues. Two police officers suspended and a third individual (could be police officer or national guard) has been arrested according to Rep. Tim Ryan.

The fact that it's debatable means she's got to go, period, end of story.

Republicans talk about "unity". It's BS unless at least some of these people are shown the door. THAT is how you get to unity. Holding the bad actors accountable. Doesn't mean anything crazy like all 140 of those house members need to resign. But a few of the lead actors need to be held accountable and forced out. That's how these things have to work. If they had any integrity or honor they wouldn't have to be "forced" out, they would just do it.

It's actually quite similar to the issues with policing and police unions. When a bad seed is identified, no you don't rally around them. You say GTFO you are fired. If you don't punish the bad actors, that's how you get to where we are.

Lincoln sought unity, extremist shot him in the head.

Do people not watch movies, every time you give Dr Evil leniency, bad things happen ;)

I don't know how many were there. But there were several in the front lines of the capitol building invasion group (was that just a coincidence?), and numerous police agencies across the country reported having officers attending the rally/riot.

Why is it important how many there were?

And the legally responsible people for her death should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law...those who tried to forcibly enter that office with her or encouraged her to do so.

Two Capitol Police Officers Suspended, Another Official Arrested for Roles in Trump Riot

"Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) told reporters on a video call Monday afternoon that an officer seen posing for a selfie with a rioter after they stormed the building and another who donned a red Trump hat while directing the rioters in the sprawling, multi-level complex have since been suspended."

"A third individual was arrested, Ryan said, but he was unsure whether that person was a Capitol Police officer or a member of the D.C. National Guard. A spokesperson for the Capitol Police did not immediately respond to Newsweek's request for comment."
