New Quinnipiac poll is out and it is not pretty.

President Trump has a negative 33 - 60 percent job approval rating, which is a substantial drop from the negative 44 - 51 percent rating he received in December of 2020.

"A majority of Americans hold President Trump responsible for the chaos at the Capitol, and a slight majority believe that he should be removed from office," added Malloy.

“A slight majority, 52 - 45 percent, say President Trump should be removed from office. Voters also say 53 - 43 percent that he should resign as president.

The president's job approval rating today ties his all-time low, which he received in August of 2017.

Been hearing about Boebert from Colorado. She's as scummy (for lack of a better word) as the rest of the Trump insurrectionist supporters.
I see people are wanting her expelled based on transmitting Pelosi's location during the siege.
Putting on my neutrality hat, I view "the speaker has been removed from the chambers" as a statement of fact, not a "go get her" statement as others see.
Maybe she should be expelled/removed for other reasons, but not that tweet.

She also said “this is 1776” the morning of. She knew. Those location hints aren’t just “a little” suspicious, they are “a lot” suspicious.

This woman also apparently has a scummy criminal background. I guess a criminal background isn’t a disqualifier for congress at this point (it may be a requirement!). But either way, put it all together and this person should be gone before we knew her. Wack job. Hopefully the republicans just force her out, they probably won’t, but clearly this is what should happen. That area of CO can just put forth another nutter who maybe didn’t kinda/sorta try to have the speaker killed.

I would say that one thing I would want to check on is the investigation of an inside person on this. Apparently, the FBI is suspicious of how quickly a large chunk of the mob got to the Speaker's suite, which is apparently not easy to find. Within that context, those tweets are highly problematic. If they aren't able to definitively link to inside sources (or she isn't one of those sources), then I would agree that the most this would warrant would be a censure.

There are a bunch of videos out of these traitors getting yanked off planes and crying about their ruined lives because they're on the noFlyList now. If you're into that sort of thing.

With no context I would agree. But given that she has been encouraging those who participated in the invasion of the capitol, and declared that this was 1776, it gets harder to read her tweets about Pelosi's location as neutral.

Seems the Capitol Building is so dense (marble, iron dome) that there are repeaters on the lower levels that pick up cell phone data. Add that to the dozens of cell connection points surrounding the Capitol and the FBI can put together a pretty good picture of movements that day. The capacity of those connection points is limited, so it didn’t catch everyone. But it is a gold mine of movement data.

Sweet dreams, insurrectionists. Was that a knock at the door?

Duckworth demands Pentagon investigate whether troops participated in Capitol riots

On Sunday, Democratic Reps. Ruben Gallego (Ariz.) and Sara Jacob (Calif.) also sent a letter to Miller asking him to direct military investigative services to work with the Justice Department to identify any active-duty troops at the riots, as well as recall to active-duty retirees identified as rioters so they face military justice.

Military retirees can be recalled to active status and court martialed in some circumstances.

Finding a common middle ground in which to discuss our differences is going to be tough in some cases. Accountability must be brought to the President for his part in the events of Jan 6th. As Chris Christy said - if the president's actions aren't impeachable, I don't know what is.

I know. In that situation why would she be tweeting about Pelosi at all?

Let's be fair. Yes, it's odd. But if she was actively helping people try to find/capture Pelosi, she didn't do a very good job. Pelosi leaving the house floor is newsworthy in itself. "Helpful" tweets would have been a little more specific: "Pelosi removed, currently heading west down 2nd floor corridor", or "Pelosi moved to basement room directly below house chambers"

True. But “Pelosi left House chamber” is also very important information if you are looking for Pelosi.

She’s not a member of the media or neutral observer, she was WITH the insurrection. Therefore any updates as to the whereabouts of Pelosi are met with immediate suspicion, and I would suggest, damning.
