He did a pretty good job consider what he was left with and the wackos he had to deal with

Cherry picking pics. Love it. Wouldn’t expect anything less. Hypocrisy still exists in the wake of this “healing”

Problem is that any rational minded person would know that his post was spot on. An irrational person would post a response similar to yours.

Not sure what’s worse those on here defending and cheering Trump or those on here cheering and defending Trump.

Yes, the organization BLM did not riot. When groups gather and become mobs, it becomes dangerous, left or right. But BLM has, unlike Trump and many of his followers, always preached peaceful protests. As for bigotry, we all have bigotry (including me) and your denial is hilarious. As I discussed when recommending you read the book "White Fragility" , bigotry is based on patterns and is inherent to human survival. Prejudice is acting on bigotry. Racism is prejudice plus power. Worry more about the latter two as those are where I'm guessing concerns lie. But denying bigotry in all of us? That is just a sign of a closed mind.

Citing your conflation of Antifa and BLM as ignorance or bigotry was a factual observation about your statement (I do love your second grade retort "you are the one being ignorant" as it reminds me of my little sister long ago). If this hits home, perhaps you should stop shouting and start listening and reading.

I don’t think I’m doing a good job explaining my position. I’m not suggesting that they shouldn’t be able to enforce their rules on the president. I’m just defending them for giving him more latitude in the past.

Is anyone surprised by the group here defending trump? No surprise but it is good to have a record of those who put the orange one over country.
If you notice, the smart trump supporters have generally avoided this thread.

Sorry, I was using a shorthand. What I meant was that we the people can choose to vote him out of office for unacceptable behavior on social media.

And your question is a good one that I think will be pondered for some time. How did we get to this point? And we didn’t just barely make it here, we still have 70 million people that wish to maintain this situation.

I actually got your position and wasn't questioning that. Merely suggesting a different angle on your comments.

Anyone who thinks laws make all people equal under the law has a severely limited understanding of history and context.

People who make such arguments often rationalize breaking the spirit of said laws as well. Which is as good as being a criminal working within the bounds of the law.

I don't like Lindsey's politics but these people, especially the foul mouthed "girl", need to be escorted away from him. To think that she is all wound up because of Trump. One day she will look in the mirror or maybe from the grave and say "well that was stupid of me". Maybe not.

That is so creepy. The amount of hate in those people yelling at Graham is chilling.

Senator Graham handled that with the restraint and confidence of someone just re-elected to another six year term. But, like a remora, he needs to find another shark after McCain and Trump.
