Take it up with Bloomberg. Not exactly conservative media.

Hawley is an unscrupulous person who is willing to say anything if he thinks it will get him a step closer to the Presidency. Him and Ted Cruz are exactly alike in that manner.

I am a registered Republican. Have been my whole life. I am also a never Trumper because I saw what he was. I am a fan of George Will and other educated conservatives. We used to be the smartest ones in the room but the GOP has been corrupted; all for the sake of votes. Taking in those who cannot think, but need to be lead. We were an intellectual party, winning because of our ideas. Now, the Trumpsters (they are not Republicans) are a bunch of mouth breathing morons, being fed their opinions by OAN and the rest of extreme right win media that is doing nothing more than making money off the uneducated.

Oh, and just because you are easy to categorize does not mean I have no tolerance. I never said you could not have your opinion. I like that people like you are open about who and what you are. No; lacking tolerance; that is your bailiwick. You and the rest of the intolerance crowd...accuse others of your own shortcomings. SJW, me? LOL. Sure...we're done.

There you have it! They were understaffed for what was known as a massive rally scheduled to protest the certification of the Electoral votes and yet Washington D.C has been boarded up for many days if not weeks in preparation. Also, it appears there were many meetings by law enforcement discussing the enormity of this event and yet...not enough law enforcement even though they were there to protest an event happening in the Capitol Building directly about their leader and with their rabid support!

On the flip side, the protest where Trump held a Bible that he cannot read, had fencing put up completely surrounding the White House and the protestors even had a permit to protest! But yet there was more than enough police and National Guard on hand throughout and the only time there was violence and tear gas and pushing people to the ground was when the call was made to have a walk to the church.

Yes! There was an obvious double standard on full display and it was clear that if you are on the side of Trump that you were given a "They love me" pass by Trump and if on the other side you are labeled as a thug and violent protestor. That is a DOUBLE STANDARD.

They’re resigning because they’re too cowardly to do the 25th amendment. These are not likely to be “principled” resignations, as most of those left in the administration have none or they wouldn’t still be there.

No, there is no double standard. Being caught by surprise is not a double standard.

This is the first mass scale disgraceful display by Trump supporters since Charlottesville...

BLM and ANTIFA were wreaking havoc the entire summer of 2020.

If they were "surprised" by this event then they all should be fired! Everyone knew the intent as the people involved were bragging about going to Washington to help Trump and yet you say they were "surprised"?
You play the BLM and ANTIFA thing as if the protests were nothing but violence which means you never really watched the protests. I did and yes there was violence and guess what..the police arrested people and there were plenty during those events too! In fact, everywhere BLM went there seemed to be an abundance of police controlling the patterns and happenings with a stick and teargas!

Those three aren’t cabinet positions. They have nothing to do with the 25th.

The campaign by Trumpers to pin this all on ANTIFA (and the fake news media) is in full effect. My whole family has bought it. I'm honestly happy that COVID gives me an excuse to not be around them right now.

Seems like there was a lot more force used on the peacefully demonstrating crowd outside the WH so Trump could have his bible photo op in front of the church than there was on the violent thugs who invaded the capitol building today.

As a lifelong Democrat (that voted for Reagan) everything you just wrote is absolutely correct and spot on. Very well said.

Both are supremely ambitious. Neither one will be going quietly into the good night.

Message to Lindsey Graham...who cares what you think. Next week it will be for whoever else comes along. Cannot believe he loves Trump so much when not long ago Trump was a fool in Lindsey's brain. He was right then and then wrong and now just someone that wants to look like a legislator with status. Just cannot stand him.
