Honestly, our lawmakers need to buck up. Not only did they turn their backs to protestors over the summer, but many of the protestors made their way through residential areas that didn't have the Capitol Police brigade sitting there waiting to protect them and they just turned their backs on the average Joe and his family. It's a stark contrast isn't it? When their sanctuary gets attacked, it's an "insurrection", but riots in the streets where ordinary people live and work? meh. That's our government.

Target isn’t where Congress meets to effectuate our democracy and continue our republic. At least not my Target.

I don't think so but it would be helpful if he were because if impeached and removed from office he would never be able to hold federal office again.

Acting like an ass in a restaurant is just like participating in concerted effort to overturn the result of a legitimate election. This isn't just about a single day. Trump has been actively undermining the institutions of this country from Day 1. Everyone knew he was going to burn the house down if he lost, and by god, he's lighting matches as fast as he can.

I must say that watching Fox today has been very surreal. If they would report news as they have done today then there is a strong credibility. They have been very unbiased and have reported what they see and the cause and effects. It has been years since I ever went to this channel and I must say not too shabby work from their coverage of this event.

OOPS! I spoke too soon. A conspiracy theorists is now being interviewed and he swears Georgia vote is a fraud! So much for that credibility.

Haven't you hear that it's because they turned on Trump a while back? Now they are fake news.

Twitter is finally deleting his tweets. Which is good since they are inciting this and totally unhinged and divorced from reality.

Yep, if he is too dangerous to remain on Twitter, he is too dangerous to remain President for 2 weeks.

Sounds like he and some of his more rabid supporters are making things "uncomfortable" for you. Mission accomplished.

Terrorism is politically motivated, so no, looting a Target is generally not terrorism.

Interesting ... the NYTs is saying that, after initial reports that calling up the national guard were denied by the Pentagon, the Mike Pense gave the authorization. Trump is the commander in chief so not sure how this played out...
