Well, for starters they don't stop the spread. Pretty much every Govt official has said just wear a mask and stop the spread. Biden, Newsom, Fauci and countless others.

Covid: Biden to ask Americans to wear masks for 100 days

Governor Newsom Launches “Wear a Mask” Public Awareness Campaign in Response to Surge in COVID-19 Cases | California Governor

If masks worked, then most of the places that locked down and have very high mask usage wouldn't be having the blow ups they are having.

So it’s semantics. If the leaders said “Wear a mask to reduce transmission” you’d be on board because that’s been proven? But it doesn’t stop the virus completely so you’re going to throw a hissy fit over of a poor choice of wording?

Nope. But keep on thinking with the lemmings. Just like you and the Coronabros were so wrong on schools staying closed for in person learning. Keep up the great work!

Once again, no mask is 100% effective in stopping the spread. Once again, the mask isn't effective if you are healthy and those around you are infected and not wearing a mask. Masks are more effective in slowing the spread when everyone is wearing one, especially those who are sick. How this is still up for debate is mind numbing.

As for schools, this is the kind of story people wanted to avoid in regards to opening them up. A teacher in Apache Junction (suburb of Phoenix) lost her battle with COVID-19 yesterday. She's not the only one.

Unlike you, I’ll own that one to some degree. Schools did not appear to contribute much to outbreaks. My issue was and still remains that we have zero explanation as to why. It defies logic and science and there’s no explanation as to why infected kids don’t spread it as much as infected adults. I have zero regrets about keeping my son home this semester and now that there is evidence and his school has proven competent, well send him back next semester. Cool, your turn.

Yep. I was wrong too. Schools just seemed like the perfect breeding ground for COVID but luckily weren't.

When there is an RCT study that shows masks work as opposed to the Danish study then I would for sure say I was wrong. Let me know when that happens.

It is remarkable how dangerous limited knowledge is. Often, a person with limited knowledge thinks he or she knows it all. But, really knows little; not enough to really understand. When challenged, that person is eventually reduced to name calling because he or she is no longer able to defend the position they are maintaining.
