Tell you what, You give me $50k per patient, and i'll turn a profit and give the patient the care they need. And that doesn't even count the money the hospital is billing the patients insurance.
I guess it is helping us learn to be patient with those that are too intellectually dishonest to have a legitimate discussion. That has to carry forward to some part of life in the future, right?
Agree. People who blindly believe what the Govt tells us are lemmings. I see it here everyday. Sad. Facts don't lie.
Sure, the best way to run a business is to just set a price and worry about costs later. They teach that in every business school in the world.
You can come on man all you want but all of your arguments for COVID consipracy theories fall completely flat when you can actually be honest about the inconsistencies.
So now the govt and hospitals are in bed together to bilk the taxpayer, and must surely be conspiring with the rest of the world to mirror waves? I'm gonna recommend you switch from tinfoil to lead for your pointy hat.
Yeah the guy you're talking about is so intellectually dishonest there is no point in responding to any of his posts. He just makes stuff up. We are at 270k covid deaths and it's all about the trash talking to this guy.
Sure it is. Simple as you paying me enough money to cover my costs. Getting $50k per covid patient guarantees they will make a profit off of that particular patient, especially when you factor in the fees they will charge the insurance of the patient. It's called math. Try it sometime.
Lol. But you don't need to know the costs to determine if $50K covers the costs? It is guaranteed that the $50K per patient average will make profit without knowing the costs. Good stuff. Keep digging. This is fun. For your next post, show me how $50K makes profits without knowing the costs. I am intrigued by what this equation must look like.
Nothing inconsistent with facts. It behooves hospitals and places like Quest and LabCorp to keep labeling someone with a PCR threshold of 40 as Covid positive. Go look up Fauci saying using 40 cycles for a PCR test isn't useful yet we continue to do it. Wonder why?
These numbers have been materially confirmed using the "excess death" methodology, which actually indicates the covid death numbers are a bit light. My father in law is seriously sick in intensive care in a hospital in MN with covid. While is in 70s and does have some health issues, he otherwise leads a fairly robust life golfing, traveling or helping out on his former farm. For us it has gone from some theoretical discussion to something real.
The covid deaths are overstated misinformation is outdated April May misinformation. If someone wants to be a good flat earther they need to move on to the latest misinformation after prior misinformation is proven wrong.
The average COVID-19 patient cost is $51,000 to $78,000 based on age according to this article from Healthcare Finance. Factor in insurance, and yes, it's likely hospitals are profiting from COVID patients, but probably not that much. Especially when you factor in lost costs from things like paused elective surgery and other lost revenues. Then there are uninsured patients. A single one will cost at least, on average $51,000, meaning a loss for the hospital, unless anyone knows an uninsured person who can afford a $51,000 bill! And these are just treatment costs. There could be other costs, especially if a hospital infectious disease area needs more rooms, and the hospital has to eat the cost of retro-fitting more rooms to be negative pressure. These costs wouldn't factor into "treatment". The bottom line is hospitals are losing money because of COVID. And the reason elective surgeries were paused is because if anyone who came in for an elective surgery and caught COVID at a hospital would sue. The liability for the hospital is just too high.
Almost everyone is losing money because of Covid. But hospitals are making money on Covid patients when you factor in the insurance and CaRES money. That’s the bottom line. They are losing money on other things but not Covid.
Best to just put people like that on ignore when they bring nothing of value to the discussion while continuing to try and spread misinformation
