I think that is what a lot of people will do, but doctors are already being pretty open about the fact that you’ll feel like shit for a day or so if you get the vaccine. The issue is compounded by the fact that you have to get two shots on two separate occasions. If I was in a medium to high risk category, I would still get the vaccine. But most Americans are not in those categories.
So, why exactly are they suspending lunches for a hoax? Or, not a hoax but no worse than the flu?? Have they ever suspended lunches over the flu??? McConnell suspends in-person Republican lunches
Looks like this virus has affected Republican leadership decisions. I thought it was a hoax and no worse than flu? McConnell halts in-person Republican lunches amid COVID-19 surge

Expected, but still interesting. Speaks some about the timeline of distribution. Moderna to apply for emergency use authorization for COVID-19 vaccine candidate on Monday
Here is the hospital data on the recipients of the Covid CARES money. $98 Billion dollars handed out so far. 392 of the 391k of US hospitals got 36% of the funds. NY had the top 5 hospitals that took advantage of the CARES money. So the offer to overstate for financial gains was there for hospitals to take advantage of. Couple that with losing money on elective surgeries and you have a situation ripe for being taken advantage of. Especially when we are using a PCR level that scientists know is too sensitive to eliminate false positives. https://data.cdc.gov/Administrative/HHS-Provider-Relief-Fund/kh8y-3es6/data
A. Many of those are not "hospitals." Quite a few of those recipients are pharmacies or individual practitioners (I saw dentists, psychiatrists, chiropractors, and a variety of other specializations) that often received small amounts of funds (1-low 4 figures). B. Many of the firms at the top are also not "hospitals" but rather hospital systems and governments. For example, the top recipient is the company that operates all public hospitals in NYC (11 hospitals, as well as a variety of other facilities). Also high up, the County of Los Angeles and Cook County Illinois. We do not have 392K hospitals in this country. We have about 6K.
What analysis? Pointing out data isn't an analysis. Sounds like people are trying to trivialize the issue of the big money that was scooped up. "Look over here at this small point!" and not to the money that was taken and no one questioning the ethical issues that it presented to the Healthcare industry.
Part of this is due to many states not reporting results and suspending testing for part of Thanksgiving week.
Heading to a family cabin in Jefferson this weekend (Just the 5 of us). You can come stay at my place on the East side to get away for a minute. There is leftover turkey in the fridge and one bottle of wine made by a guy on my staff that I am scared to drink.
So people resisting a hasty vaccination are "those" people? We literally have folks on the left...in this forum...saying they wont get vaxed. For 8 months people here have preached how inpatient and selfish people are for hurrying to normal, but anyone willing to patiently wait longer is now wrong? Am I misunderstanding you?
