Brilliant performances by Snell and Lowe, and very sound baseball from the rest of the team. Unlike in Game 1, this looked like a very confident team that believes they can win. Game three should be a terrific pitching matchup with Buehler and Morton.

It was absolutely essential to get a win tonight, and the guys got it done!

    10 down, 3 to go!! ⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾

    GO RAYS!!!

Rays take the next 2, drop Game 5, and win in 6. They will mirror the Bolts.

Wendle, Loup, and Castillo were clutch, too. Cash made all the right choices. Day off tonight, then aces on the mound tomorrow. Charlie Freakin' Morton against "Ferris" Buehler. It's all knotted up now; the season comes down to a five-game series. Reading the Dodgers reporting, they think they are the far-superior team and were shocked by last night; they were expecting a sweep. Game three will set the stage for the final outcome. Tampa Bay will be the home team for the next three games now, getting the final at-bat. Go Rays!

Snell taking a no-no to the 5th and then having the wheels come off is SO baseball. Last night was a fun game to watch.

Ray's Up. Gotta capitalize with Morton starting tonight.

Ray's are looking overmatched. It's going to be tough, but anything is possible in baseball. Let's see how they answer tonight.

It was good to see Arozarena get the rookie record for post season hits, passing Derek Jeter. The home run also tied him for the record for home runs in a postseason with Evan Longoria, Bonds, and others.

The Dodgers seem as good as advertised. They are deep in all aspects of the game (pitching, hitting, fielding, base running). Remember, though, it took the Rays front office (Friedman) moving to LA to make that happen. Rays are doing just fine matching the third lowest team salary in MLB against the highest team salary in baseball. If the Braves had managed to win Game 7 against the Dodgers in the NLCS, I feel confident that the Rays would be world champions this year.

Watching at Ferg's. Place erupted pretty good from that 3 run HR to take a 5-4 lead. Joe Buck shall be known to me forever as Joe Suck.

Kiermaier has been very disappointing at the plate all year, and especially in the postseason. Sad to see our bullpen struggle when it matters most.
